I use this as a great travel, grocery or retail bag to toss into my purse, luggage, work tote, or to keep handy in the car. It is now the only reusable bag I use.Initially, I thought it a tad heavy/bulky to carry daily in a purse, however, it holds twice as much as my other compact reusable shopping bags (replacing two of them), it is A LOT more durable, and the straps are FAR more comfortable. I ended up with too many groceries on a recent shopping trip and got to use all of my reusable bags at once, and the Italia is by far the best of all of them and the one I prefer, especially because I'm in the city, and I'm walking home from the store most of the time.I also like that it is fashionable and doesn't scream Eco-bag (great to use for department store shopping), and it isn't wrinkly when opened. It folds and snaps shut into a clever, easy to fold rectangle, without a lot of effort.
