I have to say I was skeptical but I wanted to find a remote for my Nvidia shield and television. Finding a remote that does IR and BT is very difficult. You do have to teach each IR button individually and make sure you do it on a level surface. But it was rather easy to do after a couple of tries and figuring out how important a level surface is. But it works perfectly with both the Nvidia shield and my television. It says that nine buttons are programmable for IR. That's not exactly true. I have the power button controlling the Nvidia shield and my television simultaneously. Those nine buttons will forget the BT function if you program it. All others will retain IR and BT function simultaneously.

*Update* Dropping down to one star, this stopped working after two months. And outside of the return window.Works well enough. Using it with an Nvidia Shield. Would give 5 stars if the buttons were softer and there is a bit of delay with the Bluetooth commands. The directions were OK.

I have an older android phone that I’m using as a media playback device in our camper and I was looking for a remote that could do some basic functions like control volume, pick new shows, etc.I’m not entirely sure if it’s a flaw with the remote or with android but I find it difficult to do a variety of tasks. For example in many apps I find myself having to use the air mouse function to move around because the remote will not operate certain menus. I don’t particularly like the air mouse function in the real world it does not function how they make it sound. It’s much clunkier to use than say a Wii Remote or Nintendo switch or something. I knew it would be like this going in as I’ve had several products with similar functionality.In hindsight I wish I had gotten a remote with a trackpad instead.

The remote works with my fire stick well. There is some lag as it restarts interface each time after it sleeps.

The remote works great with my first generation fire TV. The cursor works great and easy to set up. The only thing is that it connects by Bluetooth and after a few seconds of non use it disconnects and takes a couple of presses of buttons to reconnectBy side that it's great

Responsiveness with the keys is poor. As is most of these all in one keyboard remotes. Mine died on me. After swapping out batteries and trying, I get nothing. After having it less than 6 months and really only used it for TWO! If you’re gonna purchase this get the protection plan as well. Otherwise find something with a better build quality. You may pay a little more but it would be worth it.

Decent remote but didn't work. Couldn't get the keyboard to work with the Fire TV. The escape button worked. The OK button, which is one of the main buttons on the Fire TV didn't work but it worked with other devices.

I never knew this existed until I ran across them on Amazon. Now that I've tried it, I need a second for my living room. It connected very easily to our firestick, and makes searching a breeze. No more point and click to type in the letters. You just flip this remote over and use the keyboard on the back. Super easy, and convenient! Absolutely love it! If you don't have one yet, you should.
