Poor battery health. Cannot recommend.
Replaced a failing battery with this one. I left the replacement battery on the charger until it was charged to 100%. Once off the charger, the battery was dead within 45 minutes, without running any intense applications (only an internet browser). I let it charge to 100% and the same thing happened. After running the Alienware system test, the battery health is shown to be only 17%. That's ridiculous.Update: I replaced the battery another using one from the seller five days ago and immediately ran the battery health test - it showed that the primary battery health was 99%. Not bad! A couple of days later, I ran the battery health test again - this time, the battery health was 95%... and today, it's down to 91%. This is with a full charge and only a few hours of use in the past 5 days. The battery also went from full charge to totally dead in about 95 minutes. This downward trend is a little worrisome - especially since the battery health has declined from 99% to 91% in only 5 days. I'm increasing my rating from 1 star to 4 stars to show appreciation for the seller being very responsive and helpful. Hopefully, this battery will work out.Side note: I damaged the tiny IPEX connector on the WiFi/Bluetooth card during the second battery replacement and had to order a replacement for it. Alienware buries the batteries for their laptops so you have to completely disassemble the laptop down to the motherboard. Be careful with the antenna connections (and any of the other connections) if you decide to replace the battery yourself!Update 2 (06/14/21): The battery no longer holds a charge again. Within seconds of unplugging the charger, the laptop shuts down. I've tested this with a second charger and had the same problem, so I know it's not an issue with the charger itself. I don't have any confidence that another replacement from this seller will last any longer. If swapping batteries was a less complicated process, I'd be willing to tray again, but I'm not willing to take the chance of damaging the laptop again to try another replacement. I'll order a replacement directly from Dell/Alienware.
