What I loved was that it came without any bloatware installed. No need to uninstall anything, as it ready for you to install the software you want.To install software, go to the Google Play store. Or, if you want something installed that’s not there, search for the APK in google chrome. After it’s installed, it’s ready to use. This took me about three minutes to do.Why this box? It is 4K ready, so offered a better resolution for our new tv, and, it’s also voice controlled.Voice control is amazing! No more typing in a tiny keyboard, or endless pressing of the up, down, left, right buttons. Simply press the voice button on the remote, say the name of movie, and it finds it.If you are new to these, you should ask your friends what software they use on theirs, as there are dozens of film/tv show streams out there.This box also works with Netflix, so if you have an account, you can now use voice search. Game changer!There are 4 x usb sockets so you can use a large wireless keyboard, and use it to power led lights if you wanted to.Everything you need to use is included. Straight out the box I loved this product. Small compact and easy to set up.Picture quality is amazing and had no issues. It connected to the internet great and came pre loaded with a bunch of apps.However to fully be able to use the box you have to buy a separate remote or use a mouse.Trying to navigate Netflix was a no go. I couldn't scroll to see anything and there also wasn't options to pause, fast forward or anything like that on the remote it came with. Even using the remote in mouse mode it didn't navigate the way that it should do at all. If you try and update Netflix its no longer supported and wont open. If you uninstall and install previous versions of the app it then seems very hit and miss if the app wants to open again. Trying to use Netflix on google chrome works fine until you want to play something and it takes you to the app. I never tried a mouse with the box but maybe that would sort out the scrolling issues but using the wheel.The box doesn't support all apps from the play store. Spotify isn't supported however can be played on google chrome. It works with a VPN downloaded the app from the google play store and worked fine.The box itself never fully turns off, It goes into standby mode. After a few hours the box wouldn't come out of standby mode and i would have to unplug the box or switch it off at the switch for it to come back on which was super annoying and one of the reasons i sent mine back along with the fact Netflix was a huge bust for me.All in all I think if you were to use this box with a mouse and keyboard like a compute style it would be a good use but a little frustrating. However if you don't want that style of box this isn't for you. The navigation process was super hard on a lot of the apps including browsing chrome which I had to use the mouse button on the remote and its slow and also a little useless as I couldn't scroll on chrome either.So if you do buy make sure to get a mouse and keyboard as well to go with this. Not the little keypads you see but an actual mouse with the scroll button otherwise I dont think this box works properly at all.

I needed something for my projector to stream netflix etc from so I went for this box. Firstly its easy to set up, you plug it in, plug hdmi and plug the little dongle into the box for the remote and off you go. Has google play and its own download software and can download netflix, plex etc.... Also can use a VPN on it so i can get American netflix!

Arrived damaged. did't look like it was new but used item.Decided to try it anyway and was not successful in playing H.265 videos so bewareHad to send it back for a full refund. Thanks to Amazon with their easy return policy.Buy cheap buy twice, You get what you pay. Bought a better one with 4Gb memory for £40 and it is perfect and no problem to play H.265 videos straight ou of the box.

This is a good thing to attach to your tv . It basically adds the Android platform to it . You can use most of the Android mobile apps here of which my favourite is Kode . This opens a whole new world of entertainment to your living room at a fraction of the cost .

Well, it does work, so far, but the product has only 8GB storage, not 16GB as advertised. I'll keep it for the time being and will see if it is worth keeping. Three stars are for the incorrect info.After a while using it I wish I haven't bought it. Some apps keep freezing, as the box does. Waste of money.
