Cannot believe it took two people to write this
I cannot believe it took two people to write this. I was boring and the heroine was an unlikable dishrag. The heroine has no spine, the fiancé is annoying and one dimensional, the new guy is blah.Becca is engaged to Holden because she's wishy-washy and said yes to a man she didn't really want in the first place. Holden gives her a gaudy ring she hates but says nothing about. He also has all of these plans for their wedding that she hates, including that they join the Ironman competition on their honeymoon. Instead of telling Holden that she doesn't want to do Ironman or eat gluten free cardboard and stay at a health craze spa for her wedding, Becca starts swimming lessons secretly. Ya know, so Holden doesn't find out she's afraid of water. It's YOUR Honeymoon! You have right to tell him no to things you hate!Meanwhile, she's getting "private lessons" from Liam and making out with him while still engaged! Becca could have at least broken up with Holden before she started with Liam.Becca has no idea what she wants. The fiancé who looked good on paper or the swimmer who made her feel "alive". Several times she was on the verge of going back with the ex-fiancé, once because of her job.The fact is, she doesn't know what she wants. Holden is a self involved dick. Liam is vulnerable because his Mother is I'll seel, and lonely. Honestly, I didn't see the chemistry. They had a lot of talking and dating to do before they could honestly declare love. They barely knew each other.Liam is a rebound. She was too confused for them to make a real go of it and he was too needy. I give them a year.

Cute and entertaining
Hit & Run Bride by Nana Malone and Misty EvansBecca life is going just great. First she has a job project that seems to be causing her grief with her fellow colleagues. Then her boyfriend proposes to her in front of said colleagues. Howden, the fiancé has now gone ahead and arranged their wedding and honeymoon. The honeymoon sounds like the honeymoon from hell. It incorporates an ironman triathlon and poor Becca can’t swim. Needless to say she decided to go for swimming lesson with the incredible hunky Liam who she nearly kills before they even hit the water. Liam becomes Becca friend and she cannot help the attraction she feels for him. She finally realizes it is Liam she wants and not Howden. When she breaks up with Howden, he decides to play dirty. This story was cute, entertaining and fast paced. The characters were likeable (except for Howden). The authors delivered a cleverly crafted story. I found myself completely enamored with their writing and the cast of characters. Not to the mention, the great innuendos, the witty banter and the feels all intertwined with the suspense. Overall, a really good and light hearted romance.Hot Books & Sassy Girls Blog

Much different story when the girl is engaged, and meets someone else.
Becca is trying her best to put together an ad campaign but is not getting much help from the people supposedly on her team. The guy she has been dating proposes at the office and gives her a pink diamond ring. She really doesn't like pink. Then he informs her they are going to do an Ironman competition. What!?! She doesn't swim (reason given later in the story). No cozy wedding with her family and besties. So, she signs up for lessons, and can barely step into the pool. The instructor is the owner of the motorbike she damaged while getting the last, closest parking spot at the swimming venue. Yes, it does go downhill from there! And, back up again!

Surprisingly, Just Ok
Let me begin this review by saying that I love Nana's writing, and I was very excited to get the notice that she had a new book and I purchased it soon after, but after reading it, it didn't compare to her other book. The way the characters were written didn't echo the style that I had found in her previous books. The main female character in this book seriously got on my nerves. She seemed to have no backbone, and when she made a decision and then it came time for her to defend that decision, she couldn't and was easily persuaded to do something else someone wanted her to do and then she gets mad at the wrong person. She seemed to need her hand held through everything having to do with her life and when she did make a choice, it had to be validated by her best friend or she'd chicken out. Nana's female characters are usually strong and independent and even when they are vulnerable, it feels human and does not make you as the reader want to slap them silly. Unfortunately the same cannot be said about this character. I loved the best friend and the male lead, but I felt sorry for him having to chase this chick around when really in my opinion she should have been the one chasing and begging him. This wasn't a terrible book at all, I'm just saying that she has done better.

Water babes
I fancied a bit of light reading and this book was on my carousel. I thought it would just be a simple romance as that was the genre I had it under, however it turned out to be quite a lively story with dome nice little twists in it. Of course there's a HEA but getting there is what this book is worth reading for.

Okay read
Liked the plot for this love story, it was a different setting to the normal love stories. Thought that it was rushed at the end which spoilt it.
