Super Door Stop Rubber & Stainless Steel Wedge, 2-Pack

I use these 'door' stops under the back of recliners and couches to keep them from scooting backward on smooth or hardwood floors. The stops much be solid and not hollow. These stops filled the bill and the recliner is now fixed in place. Just lift the rear of the chair and slide the stops under enough the weigh of the recliner is on the stops and not the rear feet.

These are little bitty...I thought they would be bigger. The narrative may have talked about size...I can't remember, but for some reason in my mind, these were going to be larger. They are able the length of your palm. However, they worked great for what I needed them for. I have a small Shih Tzu who has found a way to wiggle his crate all the way from the laundry room into our living room during the night when he should be sleeping. I bought two of these to wedge under his crate and they keep him in place.

These look really nice, and the pull/ carry handle is sort-of stylish, but they really stink to high heavens, like they were made from recycled tires. I had hoped to use them indoors, but the smell is way too strong, so I am airing them out in the garage for a month or two, to see in the smell goes down. The smell reminded me of a garden cart I bought, with great big heavy-duty tires: wonderful cart, and the tires stank so much I parked it outside (for 2 years, so far). The Chinese use the nastiest, cheapest ingredients available (unless they have a picky US or EU company doing quality control), so I assume the rubber is made from recycled tires or some nasty rubber goop. Really too bad: design is nice to look at, but I can't abide having them next to me because of the solvent/ dirty oil smell.

PURCHASED MANY FOR NOW-UNUSED APPLICATION. BUT THESE ARE SO LOVELY, I'M GRATEFUL TO HAVE LIFETIME SUPPLY OF DOORSTOP ON HAND!

I wasn't sure how these door stops would work with the large glass doors in our Fellowship Hall. They work great. The rubber on both sides helps hold the door in place on both the bottom of the door surface and both wood and carpet surfaces. I can adjust placement of the door stop as needed for variations in the gap between the bottom of the door and the surface. I would buy this product again.

Super-simple and generally about right for the job. I've got one door with a fairly high threshold where the wedge itself could stand to be a tiny bit taller; otherwise, they're working great. Good grip, no scuffing.

It works - enough said.I also like that it has a handle.

Nice looking but have already started to rust.
