This screen is a HUGE disappointment. After agonizing over which screen to buy, I finally chose this one based on the reviews and same day delivery. I got the screen quickly (yay Amazon shipping), and it was packaged well. Easy to install, and worked great...for about 5 minutes. Then the screen started freezing and was non-responsive to touch. I discovered I could temporarily fix this by hitting the lock button a few times to black the screen and then bring up the lock screen. This has to be done a few times before the screen will become responsive again, and it doesn’t last long before freezing again. To give you an idea, I’ve had to do the lock screen routine I just described no less than 5 times just while writing this review. I’ll admit it, this company got one over on me...very deceiving product packaging and overall presentation, coupled with the high number of good customer ratings, i suppose it’s really not all that shocking that I took the bait.Just as a side note—I’ve replaced more than several dozen screens ( mostly iphone, but a few Samsung ad well), so I’m not completely inexperienced with this type of repair. Also, I’ve never been so angry about a screen that I was compelled to write a review until this one.

The product was good eventually after I had to buy new tools to do the job. The tools that come with the kit are cheap and do not last long enough to get all the screws out. Am very disappointed.

The item came with all the required tools necessary to get the job done.As long as you know what you're doing, this kit can be installed on less than 30 minutes.Loved the magnetic map for screws and the magnetic ends on the tools so that the little screws didn’t get lost.You need to keep the front camera, home button, and metal shielding plate from the original screen.Very satisfied with this purchase.Highly recommend!Thank you!
