Very powerful, but awkward switch
I bought this frother, based upon the very high recommendations. To get the positives out of the way, it is very powerful and beautifully made. I have my doubts whether the rather delicate-looking usb socket will last as long as the rest of the unit, but I could be wrong. Now the negatives. I bought this for mixing instant hot chocolate in individual mugs. For this, it is the wrong choice for two reasons. Firstly, on both the high and low settings it is simply too fast and the first time I used it (on low) most of the chocolate ended up on the worktop! Delicate use of the on/off switch allows a little more control but this leads to the second problem - the design of the switch. This is a three-position switch - HIGH-OFF-LOW, with very little "feel" between the three settings. So imagine a situation where you have the frother on LOW in your mug of hot chocolate. It's whizzing around and the froth is about to go over the top so you switch it off. However, in your rush to turn it off, you go straight through the OFF position and into HIGH. It's not a good outcome!! The switch should have been HIGH-LOW-OFF which would have avoided this.I am sure that if you are mixing/frothing in a larger container then this is the frother that you need, but for mixing in a mug it is just too uncontrollable.

Not really doing anything. With normal Whole milk.
Just seems to stir the milk around i do get a bit of foam on top that goes away after 10 seconds. I got around this by forcing it onto the sides and slowing the spin down this then made more froth. The 3 way button is just a bad design you slide to the middle for off. Lost count how many times it went past off straight to fast because the switch is soft.Edit: The battery keeps going flat after 4 uses over a few weeks and takes ages to charge. I have a feeling it has a slow discharge even when not in use.

Variable recharging
An excellent milk frother for cappuccino or latte coffees. However the charging system is a bit variable. The charging can take from two or three hours to over six hours and the run time varies with the length of charge, so you never seem to know what to expect. Nevertheless, being rechargeable is an advantage and worth putting up with the variable recharging.

Over-powered and fiddly controls
This frother seems well-made and the usb charging is a great idea. I bought it to replace my old one that took batteries. The issues I have is that it is too powerful to use to froth in a mug. Also the switch design is poorly thought out. It goes high-off-low, so you can using it on low then want to turn it off, but end up pushing the switch too far and ejecting your hot beverage! High-low-off please, it's just common sense...

Makes a great froth
I love this little wand. One charge lasts for ages. It also produces a lovely rich foam in seconds. Keep going for a lasting foamy coffee. To clean I simply spin it in soapy water and rinse. The top just needs a quick wipe. I tend to use the slow speed as the high speed is too powerful for the size of jug I use. Would recommend over electric milk frothers as they don’t last. I use this with a Bialetti and stove milk jug for coffee that tastes better than shop barista coffee.

Powerful
Excellent frother. It's a bit of a beast! Make sure you use it in a suitable high sided jug. Not like me, who decided to froth my milk in the mug. On the high setting, it WILL go everywhere! There are 2 settings, high and low with off being in the centre. It's really easy to accidentally go from low to high when trying to switch it off, resulting in milk spraying everywhere. Bear this in mind when frothing... Otherwise, an excellent product.

Very powerful!
I’ve only used the single whisk for making single milkshakes and hot chocolates. This is one very, very powerful little stick! Didn’t need charging, just used it straight out of the box. I bought it to replace a battery operated one from Ikea. It’s probably about 5x more powerful than my IKEA one! I got milkshake all over the side the first time I used it! Not be used for a gentle whisking action!! Recommended.

Light and compact
I had a battery-operated milk frother before, but batteries did not last long. This one is rechargeable which is amazing. No need to worry about the batteries any more. It charges quite fast. The choice of speeds allows you to control the consistency. I like the fastest setting as it is great for milk forth and omelettes. The frother is light and sleek. Looks stylish on my kitchen shelf.
