Where Does God Live?

One of our favorite books! It is bright and pretty. Mostly, I love how it explains when people are not nice.

My 5 year old daughter loved this story. “Hope is kind of like me. She has a lot of questions.” I personally found it lovely how the author addresses God in a non-denominational way, and how God is explained through love and creation.

I love this book- it offers everything a child first needs to know about God: who he is, where he is, how do we find him, how much he loves us, why is there evil in the world and how do we pray.Really exceptional and I love that it would work for almost any religion that believes in God. I gave it to a child of a Hindu and a Catholic and thought it was perfect- either parent could comfortably read it and find value in the lessons for their child on how to approach and find the divine in daily life.I also think it's a great precursor to learning about (and actually understanding) Jesus and Christian doctrine- really if you don't know who God is- how much he loves us, why we pray- it's hard to understand the significance of his son coming down to teach us and live among us. It's a must for all of my godchildren.

the illustrations and message in this book captures the childlike questions and the heart...I Love reading this book to my grandchildren! Great gift for a new grandchild.

This is an amazing book - highly recommended! I am always on the look-out for Christian-themed children's books to give to my Godchildren and nieces and nephews, and they have all received this one! I love the incarnational theology of a God that pervades all of creation...the earth, animals, all living things, and all people. God is mentioned in gender-neutral language, and the characters comes from a variety of races/ethnicities. This story features a young girl who loves asking questions, and she goes on a journey to discover an answer to the question, "Where does God live?" With beautiful, lyrical, rhyming language, she learns that the answer is "everywhere."

Beautiful book to teach kids that God is always with them 💕

All 3 of my boys loved this book and we read it over and over. We enjoyed it so much that I am ordering it for my grandson now and I know he will treasure it as much as they do! A warm loving view of the world that captures a spiritual viewpoint in a way that young children can grasp and form a positive view of themselves and the world around them. All of Holly Bea's books are treasures!

This is a wonderful children's book. My 95 year old grandmother decided she wanted her own copy! I did a lot of research on Amazon trying to find some kids books that really treated the subject of Spirituality, but in a non religious way. This book was a perfect fit. The art work is beautiful and colorful. It keeps the interest of my 3.5 year old daughter. I feel good about having something with a positive message to rotate in between all the "princess" books.
