Winsor and Newton Complete Sketching and Drawing Set with Adjustable Easel

I had been looking for a table easel for a month or so. I sort of bought this one by default and wasn't sure about the quality. The one I had wanted originally was no longer available but I thought "Winsor and Newton is a decent brand, I use their acrylics sometimes." And the price was reasonable, especially since it includes so much else.The easel is sturdy and built well, the ledge will accommodate standard thickness canvasses and the extended arm makes it very useful size-wise. It has rubber feet on the bottom to avoid slipping around. The whole thing folds flat when not in use.It comes with everything listed and all neatly arranged. The sketch paper is large size and protected in plastic wrap from everything else. You get 12 oil pastels in different colors including white and black. You get 8 soft pastels, 4 are gray scale and 4 are earth tones, I wasn't sure what the difference was between these two pastels until I got the set and these are more like chalk consistency. You get 10 sketching pencils, all different grades. You get 10 colored pencils which seem to be decent quality, I use Prismacolors so I honestly have not tried these out. It comes with 3 charcoal sticks, one of them in my set is warped but otherwise usable. It comes with a few different tortillons and a sandpaper pad. The manikin is about 6" tall, mine didn't fit into it's base and I had to widen the hole a bit.Overall, this set is completely worth the money, a great value and I would recommend it to anyone - beginner or not.

I was very excited to have this delivered to my house. I had been needing an easel for a long time and I had drawing and painting flat.When I saw it, I knew I had to get it.I've looked at others but they were pricey and had a bunch of negative reviews.This one had a good price and it was just what I needed. And as a bonus, I was also happy to get sketching pencils and a mannequin. It arrived in good shaped and I was so happy. I love it.Cant wait to use it.I highly recommend you buy this!

This is a christmas gift for my 9 year old granddaughter. She is very artistic and can't wait to see her face at Christmas.
