Fun for many ages
I love that the book has very few words to each page to keep the attention of even the very littlest of readers. But, more importantly, my littles love it! We rented it from the library so many times I just gave in and bought our own copy.

A nice little board book version of my very favorite picture book leave it alone good boy
This is a well done board book including, to the best of my knowledge, all of the images from the original picture book. That said, I really prefer the larger format of the picture book. This is one of my favorite picture books which I have gifted several times and have read at a story time at the library. I've also recommended it to more parents than I can remember. So it's sad that the larger, hardcover picture book format is no longer available. All the same I will keep on recommending it. There's a lesson hidden in the story but it is so well done that no one will ever feel like they're being hit over the head with it. Unfortunately many recent picture books seem to be taking the latter course. It leaves me wondering who they think is going to enjoy the books... But this one - - this is wonderful. Puddles is excellent also. I can only hope Mr Attebury comes up with some more of these stories. They are just lovely. Sweet, not saccharine with a little hidden lesson. What more could one ask of a picture book?

My go-to book recommendation for kids!
I love this book. Started reading this to my son when he was less than one and he had it memorized instantly. Favorite book. Now his younger brother recites it too. We adore it and it has been ready almost every night in my house for the past 3 years!!!! I buy it for all of my friends and puddles too. SO GREAT for any age under 5!!!

My Go To Gift for Baby Showers and Birthdays
Kevan Atteberry's books and illustrations are fun and vibrant. The main character of "Bunnies" and "Puddles" is a sweet, friendly monster named Declan. I have probably given 2 dozen copies of "Bunnies" as gifts for baby showers, toddler birthdays, and Christmas gifts, and they have been an instant hit with everyone. For many, it's the first book they could "read" all by themselves.(Check out Kevan's other books..."I Love You More Than the Smell of Swamp Gas" is another monster book for 5-10 year olds, and "Ghost Cat" addresses the loss of a loved one, keeping them close in your heart, and learning to make room to love another.)

Surprisingly heartwarming with a sense of humor!
I wanted a funny, heart warming, memorable book for a baby gift; a book that both mom and baby would enjoy now and when baby is a toddler and beyond. I asked my local children's librarian...she recommended this book as well as a list of others. This book made me laugh, it made me sad for the lonesome monster whose enthusiasm at first scared the bunnies, and then it made me laugh again. It is fun to look for the bunnies who are hiding, you want to cheer up the lonesome monster, and you want to hug both him and the bunnies. The ending is typical - easily distracted monster finds someone more to love - and it so adorably surprising. My daughter, who is also giving this as a gift, laughed along with me.

They love it! Bunnies!
My toddlers get such a kick out of this book (and The Tickle Monster) Plus, the small board book size is perfect for keeping in the nursery to read at bedtime! Well done!

Super cute!
I got this for my daughter for her Ostara/Easter basket and she loved it sooooo much, we read it 3-4 times in a row! Super cute and silly book. The ending is perfect! I loved it almost as much as my 4 year old!!

It's more fun every time you read it
BUNNIES!!! is about a monster who loves bunnies, wants to say hello and maybe play with them, but initially scares them away with his enthusiasm. This book is just SO much fun...the pictures are adorable and the simple text tells the story in a way which allows you to use funny voices and .....waaaaaait for it.......anticipate......turning the page now....everyone join in! Even young toddlers can join in the chorus. The more kids get to know the book, the more fun it is to read. Buy this! It will quickly become a favorite. It appeals to both toddlers and early readers, and because the text is fairly simple, it won't be long before your six-year old wants to read it to your three year-old!
