The Author's Guide to Vellum: Creating Beautiful Books with Vellum 2.0 Kindle Edition

I was almost ready to give up on Vellum--I hadn't purchased it yet--because I just couldn't get it to work right. But after reading this book, I had enough confidence to try again, and I was able to prepare THREE print books and one eBook for my clients! I can't wait to do more books for myself and for clients, including a boxed set of books for one of my companies; the books have been 1/2 written for years. Now I'm going to finish them and publish them by the end of the summer! Thank you!

Helpful, but not complete for all genre formats especially anything except a novel.

Anyone with Vellum software, a Mac, and this guide can self-publish beautiful e-books and paperbacks. Anybody! Vellum is easy to use "as is," but this book will help you find all the subtle tweaks you can utilize to make your own book even more beautiful. Since the newest version of Vellum now also does footnotes, the book should perhaps be updated to include a discussion of this newest feature. But overall, it is an excellent guide to Vellum.

Now getting out of date as there have been several versions of vellum since this book was published. Could do with an update. But still worth the purchase for a newbie.
