Brings back memories of the first time I heard/met this wonderful band. So many musical styles are traversed with ease that people always ask, by the second or third song, "Is this the same band?". In addition to the amazing band members, there's also some cameos from Dave Hidalgo of Los Lobos on accordion & requinto and Tylana from Quetzal on violin. Obviously, Ozomatli has grown and gone forward to do some pretty big things in music, but this album is absolutely timeless in the sense of what it gave, and still gives to the listener, the generation, and the culture.
