The sound quality is good, but then I'm no audiophile. I just want clear sound when watching video podcasts and listening to music. These earphones do that well and are beautiful, too. I put them on to listen to my podcasts and wear them all day. Pearls go with everything, but handcandy has other styles -- which are less "girly" -- if pearls aren't your thing. I've recently ordered another style (THE PUKA), so I can have some variety in the necklace I'm wearing.The necklace closes with a magnet, which could be stronger, but it's not a big problem. I found putting one twist in the cords (the "gold" beads" which take the earphones to my ears) has held the magnet in place better. The twist in the cords is just behind the magnetic and is not seen since it's at the back of my neck and hidden by my collar. (But you don't have to use a twist, just a suggestion.)My earphones came in a small drawstring bag, just the right size to carry them in my purse. I've used these earphones frequently for a few weeks and have found them reliable. Of course, your mileage may vary.Several people didn't realize my "necklace" was actually earphones. One guy asked me if the earphones were wireless (because he didn't realize the pearls were connected to the earphones). Nice job handcandy,

I really like the headphone necklace, and might even by one in a different color, but there's a couple things that are 'odd' when compared with apple headphones on an iPhone 5 and I would have liked to have had this info before purchaseIt does control up/down volumeIt doesn't seem to disconnect a call very well - usually have to do that through the phone. Guess I should contact the manufacturer as it could just be a bad switch.I like that the phone speaker rings even with the headphones attached - tend to leave the whole thing on my desk when not in use.I really like the magnet closure - but it could be stronger. I find everything stays together better if the cables cross over each otherBrown natural beads have stained the white plastic. Not a bad thing but some might find that cosmetically unappealing.All in all, I'd recommend this.

I really like these ear buds, they're easy to wear and hence easy access to put on so I'm not digging around in my purse during my daily commute. But the beads do make the earbuds heavier and can be hard to wear especially if you're not wearing it around your neck. I read in other comments that there are issues with the sound quality. I did receive a pair where the sound was lower in one bud, but Amazon has a really simple exchange policy and my new pair works perfectly!

Three stars for cuteness. Took off the last two because the sound quality kinda sucks. They also seem a bit fragile though mine have not broken yet. I do handle them with care. Mic seems to work well though. I use them a lot to talk on the phone. Would buy again though, just cuz the price is great so I guess overall it's a get what you pay for type of deal. But they are very cute.

These type of earphones usually don't fit very well in my ears anyway so that was a problem that I planed in dealing with. Now the issue of the extension cord breaking during my 2nd week of owning these was a problem that I had not planed on dealing with.. I sent mine back but they were very cute and stylish and I got a lot or complements on them so for that I give you 3 stars but maybe I just got a bad pair.

The biggest disappointment is the ear piece falls out of my ears when using them. It seems the the beads are heavy so the ear pieces do not stay in your ear. That's a big problem when your trying to listen to music, or a audio book!!!The beads do look cool.

They are really cute; many people asked me where I had bought them. The extension cord broke after less than a week though.

Nice quality but none of the earbuds fit my ears the beads are heavy so impossible to talk or jog with but they are cute that's about it
