Lord of the Flyfishermen
Where do I begin in order to do this product justice? Having recently purchased another area of land I ended up with a boating pond which is full of reeds and surface moss. The former owners were clearly either lazy, or did not have the means to employ working class types to keep on top of these things. Anyway I purchased these in order to get my hands dirty โ after all itโs a good example to the household staff, and proves to these commoners that you can relate to their daily drudgery. Obviously I have absolutely no intention of making a habit out of it, but it means I can say that I โmuck inโ every now and again. Therefore I figured that, so long as I stay dry, it is a win win situation. I have to admit that they are extremely sturdy, and after a day paddling about I was suitably protected from the worst that nature could throw at me. They also allow one to get a sweat on, as they are non-permeable, so my socks were soaking wet by the end of it but I presume there is no way around that. Not that I need to worry, as the staff do all of my laundry so it really is no skin off my nose. There are pitfalls as, unlike those council house types who have a wee in the local swimming pool (which they all do), the irony is that in a natural environment one cannot relieve ones bladder whilst sporting this item, as the boots would simply fill up with wee. I suppose the manufacturers could incorporate some kind of one way nappy/valve system, such as I imagine they employ for astronauts when they are busting whilst doing a space walk, but I would suppose that any involvement with NASA personnel would lead to a disproportionate rise in manufacturing costs, and therefore make them rather expensive to purchase. Clearly, as I do not intend to use them regularly, as this may set a poor example to the garden staff and you have to keep these people on their toes, I do not want to throw away good money so this item is definitely a bargain, given my intentions. They are also excellent as a standby fancy dress outfit, should one wish to dress like an inbred yokel or serial killer for a giggle. I should even imagine they would serve well if utilised in a makeshift abattoir, if one fancied getting ones hands dirty at lambing time, but unfortunately the lambs were early this year so that will have to wait. The staff advised me they are also very easy to clean so I would strongly recommend this item, whatever the purpose, and however sinister the motives. I am fairly confident that a good hose down with bleach would also destroy any evidence. They were also handed to the gate staff, who informed me that the delivery boy resembled a young Bruce Willis, who was apparently very polite and clearly knew his place.

I find it difficult to find adjustable waders to fit me (5ft4) but the dirt boot brand have been my trusty go to for a few years now. Great quality, low price. Had the camo pair, have treated myself to these now too. Very happy

Excellent for the price.......another Amazon bargain
So far its all looking good.....................the waders arrived very much sooner than I expected them to, they were sent in a sensible package so no issues here. I am a UK size 9 so I ordered a size 10. Size 10 fits just right, there is room for the all important toe-wriggle and a pair of thick socks . Keeping in mind that these chest waders cost less than a decent Saturday night curry, the braces and buckles look strong enough for light work and the material , feel and style of the garment over all is not that much different from a pair that is sold by a large well known angling tackle manufacturer while being sold at twice the price of this one. Water pressure , depth and flow strength and amount of use are always factors to consider when wearing chest waders so it is my opinion to first consider the quality of the those you might need before ordering , as I will only be using this item for light work like swim clearance and shallow wadding perhaps two or three times a year no doubt these will suffice. I will keep this short review updated in the event of any leakage or tearing of the material, fingers crossed. UPDATE: Used these several times now, no leaks no complaints very pleased with choice and purchase. REVIEW UPDATE 21.10.2016: Just to say that I have had far more than my monies worth in use from these chest waders while clearing swims. Going to order a spare set /pair soon. Thanks for reading.

As advertised, just what I needed
I need waders for an annual dip in our pond to clear gunk and debris. These were just what I needed. OK not wonderful quality material, but not horribly expensive either. I have big feet and was delighted to find the size 13 I bought was true to spec and an easy fit that I can get on and off.

You get what you pay for
overall this is a good product. Water proof, fits well and does what you want. Two downsides though. 1. The soles of the boots. You might as well be barefoot if you're walking over stones. they're so thin you feel every little pebble. If you have any distance to cover wearing these your in for some pain. 2. the strap stitching. Single stitching on the buckles lasted all but 3 fishing trips. leaving me to make a repair with braded line to avoid me going home early. if you buy these, get the sewing kit out and reinforce the stitching ASAP!

Just what I wanted.
The item looks to be of good quality the seems are strong. One point no the Amazon add page it says get 1 boot size bigger than you need this makes sure the overall size is enough so I bought boot size 10 when I'm a 9. So to get round the problem I bought a pair of really thick socks now it's all good. Would I recommend yes 9/10

Very good for the price
Just arrived and tried on and they seem ok. I'm a 7.5 size but, I thought that the 7 size would be ample. As it happens they are. I am only 5'6" and the size 7 fits pretty good. I don't plan on standing around for to long in the water. Its mainly a onesie for me. Easy peasy. I can wade a little or stand just off the bank or on it or if I need to kneel down on the bank to unhook/weigh/tackle up etc. I can without getting wet. Ideal in the rain as well. Boots, trousers, wet weather gear rolled into one. Then a tee shirt and waterproof jacket with hood make for a simple and comfortable fishing outfit. I haven't tried them out yet. But I feel like I look the part in them. Fishin mission underway.....
