Another amazing set of fantasy novels
This second omnibus (which contains Gotrek & Felix novels four through six) is just as solid as the first omnibus. If you've read those novels (and I would hope you have if you're looking at the second omnibus), then you will like these just as much. The action, humor, and gore is maintained very well. Character's develop a bit slowly but considering the type of pulp-fiction King aims to create, it is suitable. As always, I am impressed with his ability to accurately represent the Warhammer universe. My only complaint about these novels is that King cuts over to the Skaven storyline way too much throughout the novels. It gets boring after a while, and I did skip over some of those parts.I have reviewed all three Gotrex & Felix omnibus collections that are available. If you want to see my other reviews, please see my Amazon profile.

Excellent collection of hard fantasy.
A great collection.Gotrek and Felix is the ultimate fantasy buddy story, and it has delightful writing.People have complained over "character changes" in later volumes, quite honestly this is an opinion that only one who focused on a year by year release. This is a story that progresses over time.Characters change yet have core nuggets that remains the same.It is excellent. Especially thanqoul.Read his stories too.

Can't go wrong with Gotrex
This series sucks you in and leaves you wanting more. The book is thick, but don't be fooled, it doesn't get boring.

Back in Action!
Alright, so I ordered this on 4/6/2012 for $10.20.The second Omnibus includes the 4th, 5th, and 6th books in the Gotrek and Felix series.Dragonslayer - This in my opinion was the 2nd best of the three books in this omnibus. This takes place almost immediately after the 3rd book and introduces more of the Dwarf Lore (which I'm a huge fan of). I'd give it a 4.5/5.BeastSlayer - The best of the 3, it offers a good amount of action and expands a bit more on the series overall. Knocking off .5 as it came to a conclusion way to fast. 4.5/5.Vampireslayer - The weakest of the three in my opinion. It introduces a new villain which I really didn't care for at all. Introduced some new lore and a new area and continued to build upon our heroic duo. I'd give this a 4/5. It was good, but nothing amazing.Overall, my final rating would be 4.3/5. I would usually round down to 4, but I am giving it a 5/5 overall as I feel the character of Snorri Nosebiter pushed it up. Had some good laughs throughout this series. If you liked the first Omnibus--you'll also like this. At this point, I feel I know the characters well and am about 100 pages into the third omnibus.Cheers

Great fantasy novel.
Great series. These two were my intro to Warhammer fantasy and it does a amazing job at going all over this world and showing different aspects thru the adventures of this two. Lots of content. Read it every night and still lasted forever

Great second installment of series
Great second installment of the first 3 books. Only complaint is that the cover artist's depiction of Felix doesn't really match the character's personality as much as original cover art for the series. But great read and handy having all 3 titles in one binding.

Great edition of an amazing book
The content of the book aside (which is amazing!) this book is perfect. Exactly as described, brand new, thic as hell and a great compilation of both the main stories and the included short stories. Can’t recommend this series enough, and this is the best way to read books 4-6!
