The long-time-resident Comets even seem to have perked up and stepped up their game since the arrival of the youngsters! (That's more food than I would normally give at a time but I wanted everyone to come in and hang around for me to catch the video.) Very pleased with Toledo Goldfish! ***Day of arrival review: The fish were safely packaged and delivered on time. I like that they put a big yellow sticker on the outside of the box with clear instructions on how to equilibrate the water temperature and then release the fish, I knew how to do this but I'm sure others may not and having that on the outside can prevent some big errors. The fish are exactly as described, very nice specimens with a mix of lovely colorations. They arrived healthy, active and vigorous and when I released them one by one they all seemed ready to zoom around quite happily. From release this morning to frequent rechecks through the afternoon they still appear to be doing fine - I'll add an update to this in a few days but so far I'm very pleased!

The 12 that I received were added to a pond with a couple koi, goldfish, and rosy red minnows from a local pet store. Unfortunately, those koi and goldfish weren't well and died. But if they had a disease, the shubunkins I ordered brushed it off. At least 10 and maybe 11 of these fish have continued to thrive. They've gotten acclimated to the pond, zip around, especially at dusk, and appear to have grown since I got them.I started feeding them Omega One sinking pellets and they love them so much, they ignore pretty much anything else. I might have to cut back so they spend more time attacking the duckweed!The attached video is a short clip of my favorite of the batch, a mostly black and white fish that is very, very shy. Most of the fish aren't as distinct. Some are white/silver/grey with soft spots and some are black/grey/silver with orange spots.

Loved how fast they got here! They adapted to the pond easily and got along great with the other fish. When i unpacked the fish I thought some had died because they were in such a small amount of water for how many fish were in the bag and laying length ways which made a shallow canal of water for them. Maybe add a bit more water? But they made it healthy and are doing great. Thank you! I’ll be shopping with you again!UPDATE!!! Be aware that these guys do jump out! Just found one up behind our waterfall in the rock formation! So sad that it happened. He got himself wedged in there and was unable to wiggle back into the water. Otherwise great additions to our pond.

Buying fish online was a bit of an internal struggle but all the fish suppliers in our area had EMPTY inventory week after week and we just finished our water garden and desperately wanted to have some little fish friends to enjoy it. These fish are BEAUTIFUL, great quality happy thriving little guys who are having a blast in our pond. Thank you to this company for finishing off our water garden with happy little friends! Bonus, we bought some tiny feeder comets that we thought we lost (all the store had a few weeks ago but now that tank that usually has 1000s of fish is empty as well) and we can see them today swimming around with the shubunkins now that they aren't as afraid to come out of the rocks! Don't hesitate to buy from this company, it was a great experience!

The shipping from Indiana to southern Missouri was super fast overnight. I'm glad we got home just as the delivery guy put the box on the porch so I could get them into our pond right away. We lost two fish in the week following delivery (I ordered 25 and didn't count them, but from what others have said they put in a couple extra). The rest have thrived and must have tripled in size. They are incredibly beautiful to watch, especially when feeding them. They come to get their food almost like little dogs. If they differed in color more, I would probably have them named by now. But I haven't gone that far....

What beautiful fish! I was more than a bit hesitant to order live fish from Amazon. My son laughed when I told him. I ordered 10 instead of 5 because I positive not all of the fish would make the transition. I was WRONG! FedEx misplaced my package for a day so the trip from Indiana to Michigan took two and half days. All the fish survived and adjusted to my pond right away. It's been three weeks and I've lost one fish to a neighborhood cat. All the others are doing great. Very, very happy with my purchase.

The Shubunkins arrived alive and healthy in an excellently packaged box. They’re in their temporary home for quarantine and to grow a bit bigger before they go into the big pond with the Koi, Goldfish, the other Shubunkins, and the one and only Treme, the catfish, who has on occasion eaten smaller fish I’ve added to the pond. No snacks him or her. Can’t tell as of today whether it’s a he or she yet. But my guess is it’s a she.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The fish(5 to 6 inches) were gasping a bit when I got them so I didn't float them or isolate them. There have been no ill effects of introducing them straight into the my small pond. I've had them for 12 days now and they are all active and well. Getting on okay with the my goldfish(comet and common) of the same size. I am pleased with the purchase.
