This gently exfoliates to leave skin soft and smooth. This natural sponge is so much better than a washcloth or those scratchy mesh sponges that do little to sweep away dry flaky skin; scribe are too harsh and gritty and Soak it until soft, press between your palms to squeeze out excess water and add body wash or soap for a rich lather. Be sure to clean and dry thoroughly You can rinse it in the shower; I put mine in a bowl under running water and press it repeatedly until no suds remain. If you don't wring it it should last for a few months. I squeeze the clean sponge between paper towels and leave it on the dish rack to dry; it takes a while, but air has to circulate. If you leave it in the shower it won't dry completely and bacteria will grow.

Nice sponge but probably won’t last very long. Splitting across the waves already. Expensive.

I’m a repeat buyer! These sponges are superb. They provide very gentle cleansing, and I like to use the ribbed side for the body and the smooth side for the face. In my experience, the konjac sponges behave the same way regardless of what they are infused with: charcoal, pink clay, or green clay. That said, they exfoliate very nicely without irritating the skin. I love them! Using them makes me feel pampered. They last well if you take care of them, but you can compost them at the end of their life cycle.

I bought this on a whim- come on, £12 for a sponge?!?- and not only am I glad I gave into the whim I think it is worth the money.As the above indicates I was dubious initially about the claims of the manufacturer, but as the exfoliator I had previously used (Calypso Scrub body sponge) was no longer being sold I decided to take a punt. The item arrived promptly and was as described; it also came with a leaflet explaining how to treat it (to ensure longevity) and proclaiming its benefits such as no need for soap, no need for body lotion. I remained dubious about the claims so decided to test them by using the sponge alone when I showered.I have been using the sponge for over a month now and it has exceeded my expectations: my skin is softer than it was when using body lotion.I will continue to use the brand and have been recommending it to my friends.

First time using the concept of the konjac sponge, and I really like it. It’s great that it is natural and you don’t need soap. It did not irritate my sensitive skin at all. Economical too as they last around three months.

It was quite refreshing showering without soap. However you would probably need to have two of these on the go to give it enough time for them to dry in between showers. Mine quickly fell apart and they are too expensive to be replacing on a monthly basis. If they were cheaper I would definitely buy them all the time as I like the idea of no soap loaded with chemicals, etc... Shame.

I had bought a green one of these before for my husband and it's still going fine. However, this pink one is already falling apart, which is very disappointing. It has been used as directed so not sure why this has happened
