Review: Super helpful to the DIY-er - My husband and I bought our first house almost 3 years ago and we’re slowly doing renovations. We wanted a professional to do the tile work in the bathrooms because it currently LOOKS like some DIY’d it (and not well... lol). When getting bids for just the tile, I nearly fell on the floor! Holy cow, it’s expensive! We decided that we would need to do it ourselves and needed all the help we could get. Btw, it’s not as easy as it looks on HGTV! I did some research online and realized that we needed a kit like this to help make it look professional. We found this set to be extremely helpful. Mostly though, to keep the tiles in place and of course to ensure that they were level. This is especially important with an old house (like we have) where many MANY things are crooked. As another reviewer mentioned, definitely make sure you remove them once the thinset has had some time to set, but is not completely set.
Review: Contractor Approved! - I own my own business and install a lot of tile. I usually use the wedge/shim system you get at HD but decided to give this a try because they are reusable (shim system you have to rebuy clips). I am very impressed by these and will be using these for now on. I like how they have a larger surface area then the shims. They completely eliminate lipage and help lock tile in place preventing movement. Tip: remove them before leaving the job for the day. Once thinset has set up for a couple hours but is still soft.

**Q: How do you remove before dry if youre not suppose to walk on floor until set?**
A: I used it when refurbishing the kitchen. I laid the tiles in the morning, but removed the leveling kit in the evening, and most of cement may dry, but u can take them out in the opposite direction where they are fixed. There is not a problem with people walking on floor, because I have already tried. Hope can help u.

**Q: Anyone successfully use these on a 3/16” grout joint?**
A: I used for a 1/16" grout joint.  Worked perfect for me.  Not sure, I think 3/16 would be close.

**Q: What kind of plastic is that?**
A: It's a hard plastic, completely reusable.  Not only did I use them on my floors, I used them on my daughters floors.
