This was the best adapter!!What is wonderful about this product is it fit perfectly and snug in every outlet in every country we visited. You dont have to prop this converter up. Many converters do not fit snug in the outlet, therefore you have to put something underneath them to keep the adapter from falling out of the outlet. I had borrowed two other adapters from friends, they did not work.This adapter worked for my flat iron as well as excellent for charging multiple iPhones.We used it in Ireland, London, Paris and Rome.This is the only travel adapter you need!It comes with a case too.

The best feature about this is that you can charge 4 phones or other electronic devices simultaneously. Worked well all over Europe and in the USA! The only drawback is the one time I tried to use this to run a small appliance while charging cell phones, it didn’t work. It did work well to run small appliances as long as I was not also charging phones. Overall I would definitely recommend it, but I would buy two adapters, just to be safe. I really think my issues were due to the a weak current in the hotel I was in, but I don’t know that for sure.

I took this adapter to Europe to use with mobile devices on USB, along with a CPAP machine that used the plug portion of the adapter (the CPAP works with multiple voltages). I immediately noticed that when I had devices plugged into the adapter, that it would get extremely hot to the touch. I was scared to use it but decided to keep going because of the multiple good reviews along with the fact that the product description said that it would work with hair dryers, etc.Well - after the first few times of using it just fine in the UK I then used it in France, which is where the problems began. The outlet I had it plugged into stopped working entirely. The adapter itself didn't do anything as far as blow, but the outlet it was plugged into stopped working when it was previously working just fine. I even tried plugging different items in the room such as lamps, etc into the outlet and nothing worked. So it wasn't just the adapter. So I had to find another outlet to use in the room. This time after using it in a different outlet I heard the similar popping noise that others heard and then began to smell smoke. I immediately took it out and decided not to use it any longer. The outlet that I used it on had a huge scorch mark on it from where it had blown. I could have maybe tried to use the spare fuse, but I was too scared at this point to even try. Plus I did not want to ruin my valuable equipment I had plugged in. The room I was in immediately lost all power and I had to contact the hotel to restore things back to my room.I would not recommend this product to anyone needing a reliable adapter. Thankfully I brought a spare of a different brand and it worked just fine with no issues.

SOLID device & works. NOTE: When you travel to Australia, you need to properly convert the voltage (which this device DOES!) -- not just add some Aussie electrical adapter. My buddy's electric toothbrush didn't convert using just an adapter & it may have killed it . THIS DEVICE converted the proper voltage on all of my devices and it worked great. Just note that you tilt the Aussie prongs to be angled using your fingers once you press the prongs out. WORKED GREAT and having the 4 USBs is really nice.

I had an unfortunate thing happen while I was traveling to Ireland and it appears that it was user error. I did rate the product itself as 5 stars because it is exactly as it was described, looked exactly as indicated and I would buy this again. However, it's imparative that the user read the instructions first before it's first use! It says that you plug your appliance into the adaptor then plug the adaptor into the electric source. Well I didn't do that and the first time I went to use this the fuse must have blown. It's the only thing that I can think of. I wasn't able to use the adaptor with the exception of the USB ports the entire vacation. I realized later that there is a replacement fuse built into the adaptor. It wasn't until I returned from my trip that I switched out the fuses and it appears to be working now. So the only good this adaptor provided was charging through the USB ports. Although one might think that if the fuse blew in the adaptor that the USB ports wouldn't function properly either. So in the end I'm not really sure if it was a faulty adaptor, user error, blown fuse or my appliance (hair dryer) that wasn't compatible with this adaptor!

This adapter was perfect. We were able to charge two phones, Ipad, and backup battery storage for phones all at once. Because the plugs go inside the unit it is small to pack and has a little case to put it in. I would highly recommend.
