Mentaiko is a star, whose comics have it all: as sexy and dirty as you could wish, with splashes of wit, among other things, magic ribbons, focus on gear, facial expressions of amazing lustiness, and incredible angles - not to mention wide-ranging layout on the page! For lovers of manga or gay comics generally, this has to be one of the most brilliant whether underground or now, viewable in broad daylight. It starts with mega-hunk Priapus, based on the Greek God of good harvests and virility, sent by the gentle Zeus to turn all straight men gay because he is so disappointed with the way things go in the human world. Priapus bursts into a randy teenage boy's bedroom through a TV screen, no less, and makes the boy change sexuality and fall in love with him through one amazing encounter. In Parts 2 and 3 he repeats the line of attack on a policeman and a delivery man, in each case very realistic! Later stories are about oil wrestling in front of thousands that gets very intimate, a tale of love between two boys getting into each other's trunks in the swimming pool after practice, and a variation on Tom Thumb where a boy shrinks to a very small size and has sex with his schoolfriend who seems huge, again it is controlled by punishing Gods ... Mentaiko writes a short blurb about the stories at the end. The covers open out double to show big colour illustrations from most of the stories. It is one of the hottest gay comics - Mentaiko is the real thing, no doubt about it.

That this is officially translated and released in the west is a feat on its own. Itto's drawings are amazing, and he creates very sexy characters and interesting stories. What makes it even better is the good paper quality and the total absence of censoring.Only negative was 1 small grammar mistake I noticed (nitpicking, I know, but well) and some words/letters were partially cut off because of insufficient space at the borders of the pages. Nothing too bad, and totally legible nonetheless.Hope we get more work of Mentaiko's released like this, can't wait!

Christmas present that was very well received and ordered to purchase other titles by the author for the persons birthday. Beautiful artwork and cute story so I’m told, adviced to tell others to buy yet be ready for the erotic scenes it has within. Fast delivery and I still cannot look our postman in the eye

Mentaiko is one of the greatest names in the bara genre, seeing his work published in english and completely uncensored is wonderful. Priapus has numerous sexy stories that all long wonderful on high-quality paper, i look very much forward to seeing Mentaiko's "Boy who cried wolf" be published too.
