Glowbys LED Fiber Optic Light-Up Hair Barrette - Gold

The barrette is simply designed (good for little kids) and can be easily accessorized with some hot glue if you want to make it more of a fashion accessory. The lights look exactly as shown; I ordered gold and they matched the other "warm yellow" LEDs that I had for my costume. Batteries are easily replaced by gently pulling the black plastic top off and then popping it back into place. Initial batteries are included and a thin piece of plastic keeps the lights off until you want them on - this was also very easy to remove and replace, though hard to keep track of if you put it down! My 5-year-old got curious and picked hers apart to see how the LED worked, so I don't know how long the batteries last or how well the clip stays in hair but it looks well made.

It's easy to clip on and have your hair glow. More than one of these is needed to achieve anything like the picture. I had these on for 4 hours at a party and everyone loved them and gave me rave reviews about how amazing they were. I got the gold and I loved them. I wish I would have got 4 of them to make my hair glow extra. But 2 were still good.

I like to think outside of the box. When I saw the Glowbys Barrette I felt they would be perfect in some floral displays I was making. Outstanding. Battery operated so it can be used over and over again. You just have to be sure where you put the sprays as you need to access the bottom to turn battery on.

These were ok. The clips that you put them in your hair with are quite large. They did light up well & look cute once she got them in under her hair & it got dark.

Decent. Some came broken.

These glow lights are not even worth $1. They turned on 4 times then never again. I thought maybe I had not handled them correctly so I ordered another set. I was super gentle and careful with them and the same thing happened. They stopped working after turning on 4 times. It's pure Chinese Junk!

Great costume accessory. Easy to use.

We bought these for a play where my daughter was a star. You couldn't really see them. We bought the gold so perhaps another color works better. They were very disappointing.
