I like to write reviews on Amazon, but often find it hard to be objective. At the conclusion of this DVD, I had to run to my computer to comment. This concert is a full five stars! My only negative is that it was only 53 minutes long. Even that was packed with the feeling that I like to get from concert DVDs.Someone said something about the sound quality being poor. I can only say that that person must not have a system to run it on. On my (somewhat old) 5.1 system, this concert was as potent as the original concert. If you're running decent equipment, you won't be disappointed.This was the first concert that I played on my new 42" TV. The video quality need make no apologies, either. When combined with the sound, I thought I was in Best Buy watching this on a $5000 system!As for the content, what can you say? It's Michael Mc Donald singing both the Doobie hits, and the Motown remasteries. A visit from Nick and Valerie -- ba da bing! Great concert (albeit short).It's a great "come over and watch" concert for singles; and a good "hey hunny" to spring on your spouse. Highly recommended!I will be buying two more of these DVDs as gifts to friends.

this is great of course michale is still sexy, tom johnston oh my god does he look sharp the music is first rate also i had a crush on a boy at school when what a fool belives was out i was a freshman it was one of those throwing papper wads at each other things and i acted like i hated him he would try and help me with my math and i was to shy and scared i run into him once in a while now and these songs are the back drop to that special time in my life by the way i still have a crush on michale

Being a huge fan since Michael Mc Donald joined the Doobie Brothers i am alwawys looking for new DVD or CD.I already got Gathering of Friends which is too short but sounding great.This is not the case with that one compared to lastest DVD concert i baught(Phil Collins, Eagles farewell tour, Peter Gabriel etc....)I am waiting for the next one.Pascal PEDROSA (Fontaine la Mallet-France)

If you like the Doobie Brothers, and you're a Michael McDonald fan, I'm almost certain you'll really like this DVD. The performances are done extremely well, and it was interesting to see and hear some of the Doobie Brothers perform together after many years. It's a wonderful DVD to have in your collection!

Ever want to go to a concert but did'nt want to fight with the multi thousand crowd yeah i can tell youve been there to well here it is bring the concert home,and watch it as many times as you want.Very high quality sound and visibility high definition it's like you are rite there.Great tunes as well,buy it you wont be sorry.

Great DVD, Michael as usual is awesome and so are the other artist and the addition of two of the Doobie Brothers.

As I have written before, you just can't see a bad live concert of Michael McDonald!! He has remained the same wonderful and soulful singer for over 30+ years now. Loved him in a live concert in Dallas.

Excellent condition

If you own any Doobie Brothers (MM Era) albums, or any of his solo albums you'll love this DVD. He plays his classics and favorites, he hits every note and he does it with so much soul. I bought this for my father and after watchig it , I had to buy one for myself. If you appreciate music and the degree of difficulty required to play an instrument and sing, while performing live, you'll be sure to appreciate his performance. Michael McDonald is the man!
