What a wonderful item. Two levels of brightness, strong rigid plastic interchangeable hooks. Nice long lasting battery, easy to charge. Comes with a little magnifying glass, which is handy. Case is nice and seems to be made of good quality materials. Make sure to use the wrench to make sure the hook is seated securely, it shouldn't wiggle at all. Had a little issue that required I contact the vendor who was a wonderfully helpful person! I think was was sent an older model since the wrench didn't fit around all of the hooks (the larger sizes). They went above and beyond expectations to make sure everything was right and I was satisfied going so far as helping me get a replacement after trouble shooting with me over messaging. They responded super quickly and even contacted Amazon for me to insure I got the replacement. I cannot say enough about the vendor and product. I absolutely love that the sizes go all the way up to 8 mm since most other sets in this price range only up to 6.5mm. Highley recommend!

This hook is amazing! It works perfectly and it did not come broken. I got it so I could crochet in the dark on road trips, and at night when I’m in bed so I don’t have to have the light on when my husband is trying to sleep. The light has 2 settings which I love and the lights is perfect. So far it is has held up great, and it’s super easy to charge. I would highly recommend this for the price. 🧶

I absolutely adore these hooks. They make me feel like I’m crocheting with mini light sabers lol. Only 2 slight complaints I was able to fix on my own. The handle isn’t the most comfortable to hold because I have arthritis, I was able to put a jelly pencil gripper on to make it more gentle. Second complaint would be that the plastic hooks catch onto yarn kinda easy at the seam part where the hook was molded (like the line you see on things that were plastic molded) I was able to use a fine grit sand paper to smooth it out just enough to not be a problem without changing the dimensions of the hook. I haven’t experienced any breaking of the hooks like I’ve seen some people on here talk about. So far I’d say I’m really happy with this purchase

I am really enjoying this set. The light is bright, and the handle is light and comfortable to hold. I appreciate how many sizes the set comes with as well. The only thing keeping me from awarding this set 5 stars is that the seam running down the middle of the plastic hooks can be a little more raised than I like and catch on the yarn. Overall, I highly recommend this for crocheting in low light or with dark yarns.

Works great

I've used many different brand of hooks over the 25+years I've been crocheting and these have probably come in last place of all the ones that aren't just OG straight handles like Boye or Bates aluminum hooks. I love the handle shape, so that isn't a problem. The most important issue I have with these hooks are that every single size in my set is not inline with the handle - I attached each one and made sure the head position was off before I decided to post. In the pictures I added, the head is turned at the neck to the side a bit. This means that when I'm trying to pull my hook back through a stitch, I have to add even more twist to my hand & finger movements for the head to not get caught on the loops on the hook. All the other ergonomic hooks have the head aligned with the flat line of the handle. This might be great for you if you tend to hold your next/working stitches side higher than your hook hand - my hands are held even (or hook hand is higher occasionally) and it makes me catch loops I didn't intend to if I don't add more rotation to my movement. I haven't looked intensively at the other reviews but didn't notice anyone else mention this issue. It is very frustrating when combined with the second issue. Issue #2 - I've used other acrylic hooks and these are the "grippiest" ones I've ever used. These would be great if you're working with a really slick fiber like mercerized cotton or bamboo, especially if it is a fingering or sport weight, to help with the yarn from sliding off the hook accidentally. I've been using this on a DK 100% superwash merino and it doesn't slide very easily. In terms of weight, it is fantastically lightweight for having a rechargable battery, weighing about the same as a bamboo handled Bates. I do most of my work later at night, and I don't like to have a bright light blasting me, so this is great for working in low light. I often have just a dim side light on and have been using this while watching TV, and the two different brightness levels are great. All in all, if you are newer to crochet, if you prefer to work with dark yarn or in dimmer light, or you have trouble when working with slicker fiber, this set would be great for you. Just be forewarned that the heads might be turned awkwardly.

Def worth the money, had procrastinated buying some because they were just so expensive for something I may not like. Absolutely love the storage bag it comes with. It does make a squeaky sound with your yarn on it

Purchased for 11 yr old who loves to crochet - even on movie nights & other times of lowlight. She was delighted how much light these crochet hooks provided. Carry case is so pretty it looks like a special occasion clutch. Overall a great gift the recipient was happy to receive.
