LENSEN Tech Princess Rapunzel Dress Cosplay Party Long Sleeve Costume

This Rapunzel dress is just what I wanted for my 4 year old grand daughter to wear at Disney World. I didn't want a "costume" made of polyester that had printing and glitter on it that would be scratchy and uncomfortable. This is a real dress made of velvet with a tulle skirt with satin underneath it. The workmanship is awesome and detailed. Little roses, lace, rick rack sewn on, not glued. It does need some ironing of the skirt as they recommend....it's very wrinkly right out of the box. There are two layers of tulle to iron. Lovely.

I purchased this for my turning 3 year old granddaughter for her birthday. She is in a Rapunzel phase. She put it on right away and wore it everyday for five days... when not sleeping or at daycare. In the morning we had to put it on over pjs to eat breakfast! Then when she got home after daycare we'd have to change into it again. She would take it off for dinner, so she wouldn't get it dirty (her decision). Her birthday was in March, and interest has waned just a little; but she still wears it at least a couple of times a week. For the abuse, and washings, it has held up quite well other than some of the gauzy/chiffony layers. But again, she is a little bit of a rough Rapunzel!! She had to stand on her kiddy table to sing "I've got a dream" and when I saw her and reprimanded her to get down, she jumped off before I could stop her, and put her knee thru the chiffon! Now that I think on it, the dress has held up under her abuse better than Grandma!!!!

Make sure you order it like two sizes big!!!!!! This is made in China and sizing is inaccurate to say the least!! I've ordered enough of them that I should have known better! I ordered a size 5 for a four year old. What I got was a 130. A 130 would be more for a three year old and a short one at that. For my four year old niece (just turned four) who is tall, I should have had a 150; I don't even know if this comes that large. Now I understand the comment about it not going to the ground; it's because the sizing is ultra small. Also, the tulle is not gathered straight around the bottom of the bodice. I've bought at least ten princess dresses over the last two years, and this one is not impressive at all!!! The tulle is going tear in no time. I would send it back, but I need it for a birthday party tomorrow. This is just Cheap crap!! Stick to Little adventures, Rubies, or Jerris if you are looking for something that will last.

Love the material. It's not cheaply made like all the other dresses. I thought it would be more poofy I guess like how it shows in the picture but can't complain. My daughter absolutely loved it!

This dress is incredibly beautiful, received many, many compliments and it was super comfy for my 4 yo to wear. She wore on 4 separate occasions for Halloween events. Roomy enough to wear long johns underneath so she could trick-or-treat outside and wear on its own for events in doors. Love this dress. Great quality. Would highly recommend.
