I have been using the towel from this brand for a number of years, love the quality very much. It would be perfect if it costs less.

Higher quality, thicker fabric, than most other tenugui
Tenugui made with the chūsen dyeing process. [do internet search for 注染って何, what is chūsen?] Made by Hamamonyo, using their wakaba fabric, that has a higher thread count & is a little thicker, than most other tenugui fabrics (often called bun fabric). These tenugui are nicer quality fabric than the lower priced tenugui. See the hamamonyo dot jp website English page for further description. Nicest hand feel tenugui I have, and have already ordered another like this one and another pattern. Delivered quickly. Recommended.

Really nice design, but it does fray easily on the ends. No problem to me though. I carefully took a lighter to the ends .
