This pump might do a great job of pumping water if it were possible to connect it to a standard UK garden hose. I could only get it to work weakly by clamping and gluing a makeshift connection to my hose, with the result that it leaks and performs weakly. I contacted the supplier for help, but all they could say was - return the product. I am still searching for a connector, and in the meantime I have to put up with poor performance.

The pump does not start remove surface water less than 2inch deep. Once it is primed, it will do well and left little surface water behind. Need to find a way to prime the pump to kick start it…

Nice and easy to use. You need to buy a hose pipe to connect to the outlet but they're easy enough to get from b&q, screwfix etc. I bought a 22mm 10m length hose from b&q for £20 and it works perfect. Empties the hot tub in minutes and means I don't have to flood the garden any more!
