I didn't get around to finding a thermometer that would let me take the temperature of very small areas. I also didn't benchmark the performance of my Raspberry Pi before or after I installed this set of heatsinks. I have absolutely no idea if they work or not. What I do know, is that my Raspberry Pi looks way more awesome with the heatsink.In all seriousness, the chips were hot to the touch prior to installation, and these heatsinks are cool to the touch now. Dissipating the heat is always a good idea and even if not necessary for performance will still help the longevity of any electronic component. Would recommend, especially if you use your Pi for media or anything else that's processor intensive.

These heatsinks fit the Raspberry Pi 2 that I mounted in side the Zebra case with no clearance issues. I did not run my Pi to check the temps prior to installing these heatsinks, so I do not know how much of a drop in temp they give me, but I run OSMC on my Pi in a normal temp room, and my temps run 94F-104F.

Really unnecessary on the Pi but if you like the way they look, like me, have at it. They loose one star for the price, a bit high for what they are.

They work, but it's amazing how small they actually are. Seems a bit overpriced for what you get. They do keep unit cooler though.

The Manufacturing process is great. The Fit is good. They look functional. I never check the before and after temps but currently with these installed my system runs about 117FI've now purchased 5 sets of these heatsinks and they all were perfect!Thanks Again

I Got what I expected to get...I don't know yet what's the difference between having it and not having it.Time will tell.

Keeps temps a bit lower. Completely unnecessary, only if you are overclocking really. Normal operation will never cause massive heat spikes.

Great heat Sink. Fits the raspberry perfectly.
