XLEDIA X-Series X40L A19 LED Light Bulb, 40-Watt Replacement, Soft White (2700K)

The bulb is great, I bought these for an enclosed ceiling fan, because they are cool and rated for enclosed fixtures. It provides a good amount of light, for very little power and the quality of light is very good. Just wish the price was a bit lower. The price is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

no complaints. I bought it to replace a hallway light. My first purchase was an xledia 60 watt equivalent output, but it was too bright, so I bought this one and it gives the right amount of light for me. I bought xledia because although it costs more, it weighs less than the other brand but it still is hefty, like a baseball.

There's really not much more to say than "enclosed fixture". Directional. I have this installed in the enclosed recessed fixture above the shower. Pointing straight down. I should never have to get up there and mess with this light bulb. Ever. Again.

Really, the only led can that can be used in an enclosed fixture. Operates much cooler/generates much less residual heat than the CFL it replaces. Xledia products are well built and worth the premium price. Bright and clean light. The 40 watt is fine for the enclosed fixtures in our closets.
