Husband lives these. Saves his knees at work and are light weight and durable. They fit right in his double knee carhartts.

Best knee pads. Light duty. Very comfortable. Used these for years. New pair for every new pair of coveralls.

So far these seem great. Only been wearing them for about a week but they seem to be as advertised. Haven't washed them in the pants yet but will update after I do so. I put these in my Tru-Spec pants. They don't completely fill the pocket but every time I kneel they are right in place to protect my knees. If these wash and wear as advertised I will definitely be buying more. Update: 8/20/2017 Ok, so I washed them once following the directions on the package. Everything seems fine so far. I am impressed enough to order 3 more pairs for my Tru-Spec pants. They say the pants will wear out before the pads do. I have 2 pair of Tru-Spec I have worn constantly for over a year with no signs of wearing out. I will update in the future to let you know how the pads last versus the pants. Update: 8/31/2018 Ok boys and girls, it's been over a year now of wash and wear with these pads in my Tru-Spec pants. Both are doing amazingly well. Washing a pair weekly (Following Directions) and NEVER removing the pads from the pants. They still feel as padded as when I first put them in. Love these pads!! If something catastrophic happens I will post again. Right now I am a very happily knee protected user. Update: 10/13/2019 Alright kiddies over 2 years now and all I do is wash and wear, wash and wear, wash and wear …. Neither the pads or the pants show any signs of giving up. Haven't taken the pads out to look at them but every time I kneel down and feel them still giving excellent protection I know they are just fine. It's like the pads and the pants are taking this challenge seriously. Will keep you posted on the outcome.

I have washed and worn a pair 5 times. They have performed exceptionally well. I have them installed in Carhartt B136 Double Front Pants. I just received a second set of these and installed them in an identical pair of B136 pants. Washing. I work about 70hrs a week. My wife is super cool and usually handles the laundry. She washes and drys these identical to my other pants with no adverse effects yet. She probably dry them on high. Positioning. I keep them positioned where they naturally sit, at the bottom of the double front. I slightly pull my pant legs up as I kneel down. No issues with this. I wouldn’t want them sewn in place since this would mean they would be bent while sitting or driving, etc. Installing. Very easy. Roll them and insert. Padding. They could stand to be a little more cushy, but I wouldn’t want them to be very much thicker than they are currently. They offer protection and make kneeling much softer. It isn’t like having a thick kneeling pad, but I am very happy still. I really only notice these when I kneel down, so they pretty much disappear during all other activities which is great. Much thicker and they would be annoying. I do commercial refrigeration work and they seem to offer adequate protection and comfort for me while kneeling on Supermarket floors. I will update if something happens to change my mind.

These are the best for anybody doing construction or demolition. I wear them with Carhart jeans and I’m always ready to drop down on my knees and work on trim or drywall or flooring without my knees swelling at the end of the day. I’ve used them for several years now and my jeans will always wear out before the pads do. Also it’s great to be able to just throw your work jeans in the washer and dryer and not worry about the kneepads, because they are not affected by the laundry process. I highly recommend them, and I’ve had six knee surgeries. Also, I used to clean carpets, upholstery and stairs and would always get the back of my knee rubbed raw from the straps on other knee pads. You can be on your knees all day with these and you don’t have a red rash at the end of the day.

These are great for everyday use. My husband only wears double duck carhartts (size 30x32) and these are tricky to get in the itty bitty knee holes but once they're in they fit perfectly. On the downside it's humanly impossible to get these out of his pants. However leaving them in doesn't bother him, he doesn't feel them while walking around and they're not entirely noticeable. For cushioning quality he says they aren't like traditional knee pads in the sense you knees don't experience any pain BUT they do make every day man stuff less annoying and painful. Like kneeling down on the ground you don't notice every microscopic Pebble that renders you immobile once you knee hits it. So far we have ordered four pairs in total and washed all of them inside the pants and they've held up completely. They don't seem to hinder drying time either which was a small concern for me. I highly recommend these!! **UPDATE** We’ve had four pairs of these knees pads for a year and I can confidently say they have outlasted my husbands carhartt pants. We actually had to cut them out of the knees of his old pants and put them in his new pants (32x32 he gained a little weight lol) and they still fit perfectly. He actually refused to wear his new pants until I put these in for him. Washing and and drying them hasn’t seemed to damage the pads in anyway and they haven’t compressed very much from daily use.

These are over priced. They barely get the job done, because they are so thin. The only good thing is that you have plenty of length to cut to the size you need. They're not very wide either. I would have probably gave them another star if they were a lot cheaper. They would be a decent deal at about half this price. I would only buy these if you needed your knee pads to be extra long. If not, there are better options. And those better options are actually cheaper.

I am very pleased with Soft Knees. Although they were slightly difficult to put in place. (Dickey's double knee painter pants), once in they worked great. As a matter of fact, the first time I keeled, I forgot I had them, and, they performed remarkably. I have used them now for about 2 weeks. They were washed in place twice with no problems after the washing. I think they would be great for any worker (painter, carpenter, etc.) or home owner who will be on their knees several times throughout the day. These are much better than my "strapped" knee pads, as I never have to readjust the Soft Knees, they are always in place. They are very comfortable and do a great job of protecting my knees. The only drawback I can find, is, if you are sitting around for an extended period of time, they do seem warm. But, I do not consider that a problem, and, based on all the pluses, easily gave it 5 stars. P.S. The price was right too.
