This cable is designed to connect enterprise routers to a pc so that the router can be configured from the computer. You may not be able to directly connect Nas storage to a ps4 but you can directly connect an external hard drive to the ps4 via usb. I suggest finding out what connection your hard drive has (most likely sata) and finding a usb to that connection, adapter.
