The set comes ready to use, incredibly sharp and well made. These chisels work as well as some of the best chisels I own, where an individually chisel may cost as much as this whole set. I have only had them for a couple of months and I feel that the level of detail in my work has improved greatly. I gave them four stars because of the redundancy of the tools. I am not saying the set is not worth the price, I just think they could have offered a better variety of tools instead of the similar strait bladed ones.
