Unfortunately, this product did not live up to the description or photo. The "gate" looks nice and taut, fitting in the space perfectly. Custom fitting mesh gate? Me thinks not! The gate was way too big to fit my stairway. The solution to make it fit is to roll the fabric around one side of the rods on the side. This not only looks awful, it won't make a right fit. It does not keep my pets out of the stairwell.

Absolute junk. They do not work. The package includes no instructions, but has pictures of the "As Seen On TV" product even though they are not at all the same. Don't waste your time or money. I don't know why there are good reviews... Maybe a different model number or not real reviews?

I have purchased other brands of these magic gates and the stick on hooks do not come off. This product - the hooks will not stay on! Of course, this renders the product useless to me. I do not recommend!

This gate sucks!! It’s WAY too wide for a regular doorway and doesn’t retract. I guess you are supposed to roll up the extra fabric, which makes it a bulky mess that doesn’t stay attached. Since there are no instructions included, I can’t be sure about anything. I watched a YouTube video on how to install it and the gate shown in the video fits the doorway perfectly. This is false advertisement. I want to return it but have no packaging left. Guess its going in the garbage.

the magic gate came with no installation instructions. Googled it and watched the video. Installed gate. Wanted to make it smaller by twisting the end but doesn't work, just rolls back out when you connect to the sticky hooks.Not what I thought and pretty sure my chihuahuas will be able to get under it since it really isn't that tight. Probably will send it back for a refund.

had a lot of good qualities if you have a small to med dog that would not push against gate. I have large dogs that are typically afraid of gates and didn't seem to notice this was up and would it hit it full force as if they couldn't see it??

Product arrived and it was not at all what the description says. It came with no instructions at all, just a piece of paper that states how great this is, when it's not. The hooks that went on the wall fell right off, and the cloth gate itself was flimsy and didn't stay up. It rolled up but fell off the hooks & didn't stay rolled up. I requested a refund and I do not recommend this at all.

Do not buy this!!! We bought this for our little French bulldog. The sticky hooks took all the paint off our walls. A $16 sale is going to cost me $1000 to repaint my living room. I could scream!!! Wish I could take a picture of the damage
