This pan contains Teflon (PTFE)
All things aside, this pan seems to work great so far. I've used it twice and it's as good as advertised. However, the main reason I purchased this pan is because it claimed to be both PTFE and PFOA free. But, upon inspecting the box it came it, I immediately saw that the coating does in fact contain Teflon. This is very unsettling and I think I will return the product and look for something else. But if the toxins don't bother you, then this seems to be a pretty great pan.

Best non-stick pan I've ever owned - a few tips on care...
This is an absolutely phenomenal non-stick pan for the price. I'd actually pay twice the price for it, honestly. The base is hefty and thick, the handle stays fairly cool (unless you put it in the oven, of course) and it is very durable. There's not a single scratch on the coating so far, although I will note that I try to avoid using metal utensils on it as much as possible. It's still super non-stick and food just slides right out of the pan, even gyoza!I believe that the issues some other reviewers have had can be remedied by these tips:- Do not use olive oil for sauteing in this pan, if you can avoid it. Butter, coconut oil and vegetable oils like sunflower, avocado (my favorite), grapeseed or peanut oils are better choices. I believe that olive oil tends to leave a residue on the pan when it is heated too high, which is difficult to remove. Also DO NOT use non-stick spray in this pan! It's worse than olive oil and can bind to the ceramic.- Although the coating can stand up to metal utensils, try to avoid using them during cooking. I've found that serving out of the pan with metal spoons or tongs has been fine, but wood, bamboo or silicone should be used for the actual cooking process just to be on the safe side.- Do not heat the pan to hotter than 400F, or a medium to medium-high heat on the burner.- Don't heat up the pan with nothing in it. Always have some oil, butter or water in it while heating.- If you find the pan is becoming difficult to clean or seems to be losing its non-stick properties, try using Le Creuset enamel cleaner. This will restore the surface of the ceramic and remove any baked on residue from oils.- Never put this pan in the dishwasher. Ever! Only hand wash with mild liquid dish soap and a sponge or plastic brush.Following these steps, my pan is still like new after daily use. It really is a high quality pan at an amazing price- you just need to take care of it and use it properly, as you would any specialty pan like an enameled cast iron or Teflon one. Each of them have special care needs and this one isn't any different, but it's definitely worth it for such an excellent, non-toxic pan!

Non Teflon and "Made in Korea"
I purchased this fry pan for my wife for our wedding anniversary and she, who does most of the cooking, absolutely loved it. Compared to other products, the price range is just adequate and the packaging condition is very excellent.I was being skeptical claiming to be "non-stick" when I purchased this pan because few others "non-stick" products are quickly warped and the the nonstick lining faded. However, it actually works as advertised. Not only that, this pan is so easy to clean that I am tempted just wipe it with a paper towel and put it away - that is how non stick it really is.It's a world away from Teflon and you don't have to worry about ingesting any harmful chemicals.

Non-stick does not last long
I just purchased this pan and am using it for a week on a daily basis. So far this pan holds up to everything it promises. I owned other Techef pans before and was always satisfied with their quality. I will follow up on this review after some time.Unfortunately, this pan started to lose its non-stick property after 2 weeks. Eggs and pancakes started to stick to the bottom of the pan. It got so bad within several days that I returned this product.

Good quality pan!
I was very impressed on how this pan was packed when it arrived at my house. The first thing I noticed, when I held the pan, was how well constructed it appeared to be. I bought this ceramic coated pan because I wanted to replace all my Teflon coated pans. I've used it a half dozen times and so far it has been great...the cooked food slides off with no sticking. When I cook my omelettes, I use one burst of canola spray, then spread it around the pan using a paper towel. The key is NEVER use high heat when using this pan. I turn the element on my electric stove no higher than 6. After cooking, I let my pan cool down, add a few drops of dish soap, then wipe with a non abrasive sponge using hot water. Takes about 30 seconds to clean! Highly recommend!

I usually buy based on your reviews
I bought this pan without review. The product description sold me. Having only three days my husband and I have used this pan at least six times. We both are extremely satisfied. The heat is even; the cleaning easy. If/when the surface shows wear I shall update this review.

Lives up to every claim
After trying multiple nonstick ceramic pans costing 2-3x that were either not dishwasher safe or claimed to be and then became damaged after first wash, I was skeptical of the TECHEF CT30 CeraTerra 12". These other pans likely due to the lower quality and thickness of their ceramic coatings also demonstrated middling to poor nonstick performance when used for sautéing meats for more than just a couple minutes. After multiple uses and washes of the TECHEF, I've been blown away by how good this pan is. While cooking, the pan wicks away residue and any moisture from the surface. This results in not only an easier cleaning experience but food that is more moist and tender. So far the pan has passed the dishwashing test with flying colors, showing no signs of damage. If things change after several months, I'll update my review but so far this is a fantastic product. Otherwise, I plan to outfit my kitchen with several other pans.

100 % satisfied
Did a lot of research before finding a product with all my criteria: Ceramic non-stick, No PFOA, NO PTFE, No Cadmium, and No Lead, oven friendly. Looks great, cooks great. Made in south korea you can tell it'a quality. This pan will make you a better cook ! ... haha maybe.

AS DESCRIBED
This looks like a good quality 8" pan that is built well. I like the fact that it can be transferred from stovetop to oven because of the metal handle. This frying Pan DOES NOT contain TEFLON - PTFE as the earlier reviewer said it did. The packaging clearly shows this to be the case as per the images I took of the pan on arrival.Happy cooking.Note: I will update my review if I find any issues frying with this pan.

Good non stick pan, not the best for induction
I was looking for a decent non stick pan that is induction ready. The pan performs as promised if you are looking for a decent valued pan, however when it comes to induction cooking performance relies on the overall construction. The best pans will be made entirely of magnetic materials allowing the whole pan to heat evenly and efficiently. Lower quality construction will use a magnetic base instead of the whole pan.(This pan uses a magnetic base only) The result is that you must turn your induction stove to a higher temperature setting and sometimes your cooktop may not recognize the pan because the magnetic feedback is insufficient to tell the cooktop that there is a pan on the burner.Overall the pan performs as expected for the price, but if you are looking for maximum performance than I would try to find a pan where the entire construction is magnetic.

NOT NON-STICK
The pan works fine at first and at very low temperatures. I fried some sausages at medium/high (3/4 on my induction cook top) and they stuck. The picture is after 2 cycles in the dishwasher. Not a "non-stick" pan!

Average
Average - don’t like what it does to the bottom of a fried egg. It’s that type of surface

Really non-stick!!
Waited to review until I'd used it enough to ensure it lived up to its claim of being non-stick. Very satisfied with all my frying endeavours with this pan.
