Mechanical properties great, software and instructions two starsThis system is working well after working with the software for about a week. It install in minutes (Cameras). What instructions lacked is it the hard drive needs to connect direct to a monitor not just thru the network or router. After that the instructions for setting up the software was lacking and missing many steps, details and explanations. Once I worked with it trying different settings in each menu item it is working well. Then there was the phone Apps. Worked great on my I Phone but my wife's Samsung only works if she is in the house. I haven't had time to sort that out. She gets notifications but no picture. From what I have read this is a network setting issue with ports.O and the software disc that came with the unit did not work on my Windows 7 pro computer. Once it did a web based down load to update the software it worked fine. So to sum it up the cameras have great resolution, sound is good and mic feature to talk to people or the birds nesting on my front light is great. Battery life is doing great. Looks like a month plus between charges. Notifications on my I Phone and pictures is great. Android phone still in question. I'm an advanced computer software and builder person, not an expert but this software and instructions would really set a lesser knowledgeable person back with frustrations. I would still recommend it.

Cameras are of good quality and installation is hassle-free. However, push notifications are not working at all (I've tried on three different android devices). When you turn it on it instantly goes off. This is very annoying since every major camera system has seamless support for push notifications. On the good side - you can set up email motion notifications and those are working fine.

Great product description but hardly ever working.Images captured are not in HD.HD images only when user pairs camera for live streamingAnd it never pairs!

Purchase this system more than a week ago and still trying to figure out how to install it. Following instructions doesn't help as it does nothing. I know the cameras working as they flash the red lights, the tower seems working, but the app shows no device is found after scanning the code.The instructions should be written with an approach to the average user, not a pro.So far is not happy. Spend $400 which got me no where.

Box showed up with multiple missing items, making it completely useless!
