Brownmed Eye Pillow Compression Eye Mask, Cooling, Universal Fit, Black

I love this eye pillow. The weight is perfect for me. I use it every night at bedtime. It helps darken the room and is so soothing. The straps are comfortable and stay in place. I am a side sleeper and do not have any problems with the mask shifting down or to the side. I put the eye pillow in the freezer every morning. When I go to bed the eye pillow is not frozen, but is comfortably cold. It has helped with my sinus pressure and congestion. As a bonus, I have noticed that the bags under my eyes are visibly smaller. I have purchased more than one of these eye pillows. I keep one at home and take one with me when I travel. Every if I can't put it in the freezer, the eye pillow still works and helps me fall asleep. I highly recommend this eye pillow. It would be hard for me to sleep without it.

I love this mask. I have been having a hard time sleeping (worsened by medication side effects causing insomnia), so I was looking for anything that might help. I had previously bought several other IMAK products that I really liked (wrist cushions for mouse and keyboard), so I figured I'd give their eye pillow a try. I'm so glad I did! The eye pillow is filled with small beads, so it is thicker and heavier than other eye masks. While some people might not like the weight, I found that it helped relax the muscles of my face around my eyes. The stitching gives enough space to open your eyes or blink without the mask pressing directly on your eyes; even with your eyes open under the mask, it does a very good job blocking out the light, even with all the bright lights in the room on (there was a teeny-tiny bit of light leak at my nose, but not enough to bother, and squishing the beads around helped solve that). The mask works best if you lay on your back. The elastic strap is a bit on the thin side, and not very strong, but I'd rather that than having a too-tight elastic band pinching my head (laying on back, it generally stays in place on its own anyway). Because of the weight of the mask, it probably doesn't work as well for side-sleepers since it can slip out of place. I alternate between back and side-sleeping; I find that it still does works alright for me if I lay on my side, but usually comes off at some point in the night (it coming off does not wake me). I put it on when I get in bed and the mask helps relax my face and get me to sleep quickly. If I wake up in the middle of the night, I put the mask back on and am able to fall asleep again much faster than without it -- before I used to lay awake for hours, not being able to get back to sleep; with the mask, I'm snoozing again within minutes! My mom also has trouble sleeping and staying asleep; I'm going to be getting one of these for her as well. Since a weighted eye mask isn't for everyone, if she doesn't like it, I'm going to be thrilled to take it back and have two for myself! (I haven't yet tried putting it in the freezer to chill it, but even the slightly cooler temperature of it on its own is relaxing. I think that it chilled would be really helpful for headaches.)

I cannot say enough good things about this little mask! I purchased this because I suffer from pretty nasty headaches more often than I would like. Typically I would put a cold wash cloth over my head and eyes and try to sleep it off when it happens. The downfall to the wet wash cloth is that I always wished it was colder and I would inevitably end up with a wet pillow when it would fall off my face. I came across this little baby when I was looking for eye mask. I decided to give it a try and boy am I glad that I did. The mask itself is a very soft and comfortable fabric. The strap that secures it is thin and comfortable, but stays put. The beads inside the mask give it just enough weight that it is comforting. The absolute BEST part is that you can put it in the freezer to chill it. Talk about a sweet little treat for those nasty headaches or even if you just have some puffy eyes. I tried it on when it arrived and decided to go ahead and put it in the freezer. I personally decided to seal it inside a quart size ziplock bag. That isn't necessary but I am weird and didn't want it just floating around the freezer. Fast forward to a week or so later, in comes a full on nasty headache. I grabbed my mask, took some Tylenol, and laid down in a dark room. This mask is not going to stop a headache, but it does provide some relief. I have also used it when I was sick with a fever and trying to sleep. My fiancé has also discovered it and I catch him sleeping with it from time to time just because he likes it. We may end up having to order a second one. Seriously though, if you have read this far and suffer from headaches or just want a slightly weighted sleep mask, do yourself a favor and purchase this bad boy! You won't be disappointed.

I"ve used numerous eye masks over the years, mainly the gel ones that you freeze and the cheap fabric ones that you use to block out light, but I have admittedly never tried a product quite like this one before. It has a very soft black fabric filled with beads and an unadjustable elastic strap. Pros: -The fabric is very soft and comfortable -It provides a nice weight across my sinuses, not too heavy, but enough pressure to be comforting -Frozen it stays cool for approximately 15 minutes on average -The coolness helped relieve my sinus pain as well as nasal congestion -the mask itself seems to be of quality construction -It has stitching over the eyes so there is space between your eyeballs and the mask -Frozen it is quite cool, but not a burning cold like an ice pack Cons: -The strap is not adjustable. It fit almost perfectly when the strap was exactly on the biggest part of my head (I am a petite woman), but if the strap moved at all the mask wouldn't stay put, and if the elastic stretched out at all it would become a problem. I'm not sure how they could have made it adjustable without it getting tangled in people's hair, but it seems like it needs something. -The fabric is very soft, which is nice, but it's the type that will snag on a sharp fingernail. -The bag was cheaply made. It comes in a bag that's designed to freeze the mask in. It closes with something like the sliders on certain brands of ziplock baggies. Anyway, the second time I opened it the plastic just split leaving a huge hole and making the bag completely unusable. That said, it squishes just fine to fit into a sandwich bag. -It will attract smells. If you just put it into your freezer without a bag it will smell like your freezer, which can be unpleasant especially since it sits on your nose :-) Neutrals (for me) -Because it is filled with beads it is a little on the heavy side (at least more so than plain fabric). If you're looking for a mask solely to block out the sun while you sleep this may not be the mask for you because if you turn a lot I could see it sliding around due to the weight. I always woke up with it next to me rather than on my face, but this didn't bother me in the least. Conclusion: I did not expect to love this as much as I did. I quickly incorporated this mask into my bedtime routine finding the coolness relaxing and comforting as well as a solution to my chronic nasal congestion problem. I actually lost my first one about a week after I got it, and after two nights without it had to order a new one because I missed it so much!

I didn’t know how much o needed this till I started sleeping with it. I have already found eye mask to help me sleep but the weighted is a whole new level! I have never slept so well! It’s comfortable and blocks all light perfect for relaxing, helping with migraines, or lulling you to sleep. There is no odor. The only thing is the strap is not adjustable so if you have a large head it might be too tight. I have a tiny head so it’s a little loose but I don’t mind.

*I unfortunately had to modify my rating and review. I like them to the point that even though it has (for me) a terminal flaw, I keep buying new ones to replace it, because it IS fantastic when new and working properly. The problem is, the thin, cheap elastic strap gets stretched out very easily rendering it unusable (I tie it in small knot until my new one comes). I think a slightly thicker, better quality elastic band would honestly make this an amazing product. Yes, it could stay colder a little longer. But it is so reasonably priced, buy several and just keep rotating them out. Get creative and keep a small cooler next to your bed if it is a bad one and you don't even have to get up. These are wonderful. They completely block light, and feel nice. I hope they make the small adjustment to the band to make them durable!* I really like this mask. It is filled with pastic beads that cool quickly and stay cool for a good amount of time. I've had migraines since I was a young child (back when it was just bad headaches every few months) and have always used cold wash cloths to soothe the pain and back the light. I'd drape my arm across for extra pressure which always made the other side warm when I wanted to flip it over because the side on my face warm. This has a nice weight to it that provides a nice sung fit against my face, fully covers my eyes and forehead, and the beads provide just the right amount of weight to feel good. I'm already planning on buying another so when I get bad migraines they can be swapped out, and would definitely consider buying this as a gift in a spa pack. it blocks out light great and is perfect for relaxing or a quick day nap.

This is the second one of these that I purchased. I keep the eye pillows in the freezer so they are ready to use. They work great for my occasional sinus headaches. The eye pillow is filled with little beads. Out of the freezer, it is cold...not frozen. The cold lasts about 15-20 minutes. The second one is a backup in case I am not feeling better after that. Bright light also makes my sinus headache feel worse, and this eye pillow also does a good job of blocking out light. I haven't attempted to use it to sleep all night. I would definitely recommend for helping to make a sinus headache feel better.

I bought this sleep mask years ago, and apparently it’s built for commitment. My ex was still using it when we briefly reconciled two years later. Relationships may come and go, but this sleep mask clearly understands loyalty. Soft, comfortable, blocks out light like a champ, and evidently impossible to replace. If it can survive two years, a breakup, and still earn a permanent spot on someone’s nightstand, I’d say it’s worth every penny. 10/10. The longest-lasting relationship either of us had.

I really like this mask. I notice i always look forward to using it. I like its weight the most, if you're a light/nervous sleeper like me. It does block out a tremendous amount of light (i sound like Trump!). The only bad thing is that you really could not sleep on your side with this ('cos gravity would pull the weight of the mask down). I think all the comments about a flimsy clip might misunderstand its mechanism. You just squeeze it and use it. Update: no, the clips do suck

Sehr angenehme zu tragen, ich enpfinde das Kühlen als sehr angenehm. Leider hält die Wirkung nicht so lange an :(. Werde mir warscheinlich noch eine zweite holen.

I keep mine in the freezer in case of migraine. It works really well. It helps to block out light, it feels lovely and cool around your eyes and because it has some weight in it, it applies gentle pressure to your forehead and cheekbones (without pressing on your eyes). Comfortable enough to sleep in as well.
