## Description

Check out this universal mount color backup camera from Pyle. The camera installs anywhere on your vehicle - front or rear - thanks to the universal mount, and outputs crystal clear video over an RCA jack. Connect to a monitor (not included) in your car, and you'll be able to see everything behind you on the screen! Perfect for backing into tight spots or moving in reverse when visibility is limited - it's like having an extra eye. And this model comes with nightvision LEDs, which illuminate the area behind you at night. You can also activate distance scale lines on your screen to approximate the distance between your vehicle and obstacles. This small and durable unit will keep you safe and secure because you'll always know what's going on around you.

Review: Simple and effective! - Worked perfectly as a front camera if you follow the diagram (leave green and white wires uncut). If you want it reversed as a backup camera cut the white wire. If you want the scale lines as a backup camera cut the green wire.
Review: Perfect Forward Mount Camera - If you are trying to mount a forward facing camera on the front if your truck, or car. This IS the camera you are looking for!! Parking Assist, or guide lines- Optional. Reverse image- Optional. The picture is superb. Admittedly, when I first connected it to my television to tinker with it; the image was wavy and downright lousy. I was using a Radio Shack 3.5A 12V power supply for say a cb radio, or the like. I knew the lines was attributed to some sort of feedback from either the power supply, or the television- so I was not that concerned with it. Once I installed it on my truck it worked absolutely great!! I am really happy with it. The other conventional license plate mount camera had a good image, but the image was reversed, and I also was not able to adjust it down enough to be able to see the leading edge if my front bumper. You need that to use as a reference. The camera does not appear to be the most rugged thing around, so I put a blob of rtv silicone around where the wire goes into the housing- just to be on the safe side.. I think it will be fine. It is very small and low profile. You can barely notice it. Check out the pics.... All in all, I'm pretty happy with it. I wanted a camera that I could easily get rid of the guide lines, and the reversed image; and this fit the bill to a tee!! To achieve this- you just leave the three wires(red, white, blue) disconnected from one another.(see stock pics)..
