Great Sling!
I love this sling! It is really pretty and the padding on the shoulder makes it comfortable to wear for long periods. My daughter loved it and fell asleep pretty much immediately every time I put her in it. I had a hand on her almost all the time to make sure that she was supported, but that may not have been necessary -- it just made me feel more comfortable (I started wearing her in it when she was maybe 2 weeks old). I was also able to nurse in it which, although warm, was very handy. Now, full disclosure: I only used it until she was maybe 5 months. At that point I transitioned to the Ergo because I just found it to be easier and more comfortable as she got heavier. But I still recommend the sling -- it really is great. Finally, I am 5'4 and about 120 (probably 135 when I first started wearing it), and I got the small, which was the perfect fit.

Stunning, Comfortable, and Safe
I absolutely love this sling! I have it in two styles, and would LOVE to get just one more! It fits beautifully, and washes well. Throw it in the washer, and hang it up to dry, no need to iron or anything...As for fit, this sling is designed for young babies, and I think the issue with the other reviewer is that her sling didn't fit her own body. I wear a size 10 or 12, am 5'11", and I'm very large busted, so I went with the large. It should fit so that your baby isn't down around your hip, but snugly against your bust. Just make sure you follow the sizing chart!I LOVE this sling! You will too!

Great but was mailed the wrong size
My husband and i love the sling. My only complaint was that we ordered a large and was delivered a small which is great while he's small but will unlikely work when he's bigger and he's growing so fast! For an expensive sling I was hoping to use it for a longer time. The materials are great and my son falls asleep instantly in it!

Chic and functional
Although I didn't purchase this market sling for myself, I wish I'd had one when my baby was born. I am sure it will be well used by the new Momma who received it. It's very well made (fully lined), the colors and design are boho chic and it will keep baby close and snug at all times.

Very pretty, pretty much unusable
I see that this has been discontinued by the manufacturer, and I understand why. It's gorgeous and I actually asked for it on my baby registry, and was thrilled when a generous friend bought it. But unfortunately, that friend ordered a too-small size, and when I contacted Serena & Lily to see if I could exchanged the unopened sling for a bigger size, I was told I'd have to ask my friend to issue a return. I didn't feel comfortable asking my super busy friend — who, like me, has twins, but unlike me, is a single mom — to get online and try to sort out a complicated third-party exchange. She and I don't even live in the same state. So I just kept the too-small sling, and hoped it would work out.Unfortunately, it didn't really. Aside from being too small, I could never figure out how to comfortably squeeze one of my girls into this. At first they were much too small, and then suddenly they were way too big. I studied the photos and watched a video, but the process of getting a girl in the sling was so awkward — and caused so much screaming! — that I eventually gave up. We have a Boba Wrap that works great, as well as two Ergos. The Serena & Lily sling is now just expensive decoration on our coat rack.

LIFESAVER
These slings are amazing!!! I have to admit I bought this over some other brands because it is beautiful - the embroidery is stunning and the fabric is all organic and very soft to the touch -- cuddly on the inside for baby and soft on the outside for carrier. It is very comfortable too (my baby is now 21 lbs and I can wear it just fine for a few hours) because of the very wide band that goes across your shoulder and back. The BEST part is that my baby fell asleep five minutes after I started walking around with her in it! MIRACLE! I like to put the baby in the sling first (lying on my bed) and then stick my head and arm through it. Perfect positioning every time. I am 5'9" and got the Medium - fits perfectly. To be fair, one-shouldered slings are not as comfortable for long-term wear so I wear the Ergo on long walks and errands -- however this is perfect for around the house, quick errands, cooking, etc. I love having both.
