Absolutely Perfect
I love this so much. It's soft, light and warm but not too warm. Not sure how this works but it's the best blanket I've ever owned. I can't believe I waited this long. Only problem, now most hotel blankets don't measure up :).

This is a light weight duvet insert — not a blanket
I was buying the whole Westin bed experience and liked the idea of the down blanket over the hassle of a duvet and cover. The pictures show it looking bright white and crisp, matching the bright white sheets, but it is not. The down is visible through the fabric, so overall it is grey. There is nothing special or nice about the finishing and it appears it was meant to go inside a duvet cover — in fact it has little loops on the edge, I assume for attaching a duvet cover, so it may not be a blanket at all but just a duvet insert they got from a supplier somewhere.but was almost $150 less here than it was on the Westin site, so I question if it is not a value engineered version, or what they really sell. It’s also not warm enough for using on a bed as your primary “blanket” -not even for the Summer. It’s probably best for use on the sofa as a throw.

Warm and cozy (maybe TOO warm)
We've stayed at a lot of Westin Hotels over the years, and always enjoyed the bedding. My darling bride talked me into getting this to help keep her warm.PROS: It does what it says -- keeps you warm at night. Plus, it is also relatively light weight. We've been able to wash it easily in our high-capacity front-load HE washer and dryer.CONS: WARMTH--maybe TOO warm. We keep our home at about 68-70 during the winter, and 70-72 in the summer. Even in the winter, we find ourselves getting too warm at night and find ourselves waking up drenched in sweat and throwing the blanket off of us. I'll be replacing it with a lighter-weight blanket. LOOKS--we inserted the king size blanket into a premium king-size duvet cover for protection. It does not fill the entire cover by about 6 inches side to side, so it looks a little wonky with the thinner sides hanging off the bed. VALUE--there are other blanket alternatives that perform as well as or better at a fraction of the price--you're paying for the Westin name.
