The best clippers I've ever come across
I suspect I could be using these to the day I die. They are so well made.Over the years I've broken a few finger nail clippers trying to clip my tough toe nails. After the last breakage I decided I needed to find sturdier nail clippers, and to buy a larger one for toe nails. This set fulfilled my requirements perfectly. They are like an industrial form of clippers. They feel very well made. Stainless (instead of the prone-to-wear chrome coating all my previous clippers have had). Super strong, and a pleasure to use. I can't imagine them ever breaking. Perhaps if a zoologist borrowed them to clip an elephant's toe nails, they might fail. Perhaps. :-)

One out of 2 was Good
Thought it was a great deal to get 2. Nice quality and metal. The small clipper cut very nice. However, was disappointed the large did not cut well. It couldn't cut the nail on my large toe. Was like my nails were made of steel. I pressed all the way down and it just wouldn't cut. Had to return it. Would buy the small one if they sold it separately.

Sturdy and sharp, easier to control than the cheap and ubiquitous small trimmers usually available for nail cutting
First time I've bought anything like this, they are superior in construction to the ubiquitous Trim branded products I usually have used. Because they have a longer and broader lever, they seem easier to control. They're also pretty sharp, so care must be taken to just get the nail and not the surrounding tissue into their grip. Not the transcendent experience I was expecting, but definitely a superior device for nail cutting. Longevity to be determined. Non-chromed stainless steel.

The toenail clipper is fine, but the smaller fingernail clipper isn't very well made. The cutter was mis-ground so the jaws don't line up and make a messy cut. And there's no file to clean up after that messy cut.

When pressing down on the handle to clip fingernails the blades did only a partial cut and left the nail jagged and broken.

Great clippers for my USA Veteran!
These are great nail clippers, my husband lost his left arm, and his right arm is in a brace permanently from the war in the Middle East. He has been trying to be more and more independent. He used to have me cut his nails on his right hand but very recently he started clipping his own nails. Yea!!He takes a small face towel, folds it and puts the large clipper on top of the towel so it wouldn't slip off the table. He moves it to the edge of the table, uses his stump left arm and clips his right hand. The clipper is so sharp, and well made and has risen his independence!Thank you D&M Innovation...

The material is very good. Looks and feels strong
The material is very good. Looks and feels strong. Only problem for me is that the cutting edge is too flat. If you have a short nail, it's hard to reach, because the edge is blocked by finger tip. This is the only but serious design flaw to me. Other good clippers have a more protruding cutting edge.

a cut above?
I'm kind of a nail clipper connoisseur and collector. These are good clippers, definitely above average. But my favorite everyday clippers are still the Seki Edge. For a very cool, ultra-compact, and very sharp clipper look at the "Zwilling J.A. Henckels Ultra-Slim Nail Clipper". Both are sold on Amazon.
