THis product appears to be a gimmick, right up until the point you use it. Simplicity and effectiveness, Im blown away. This step is well built and has added features I didnt consider as necessary. Compact, lightweight and easy to use.I am 300 pounds and this handled my weight without any flex. It adds that extra reach I need to access my entire Roof Rack with confidence on my 2018 4Runner.The unit is compact enough that I ordered 4 of them so that I could go from door to door without having to remove the step and switch it as I go from position to position.I recommend this unit or similar if you have an SUV and are often putting things on the roof that you find hard to reach.

These are well built and worth the money I am sure, but they angle down way to far on my F250 to be able to use them. I am going to try them on my Jeep and see if they will work for it.
