If you have a room that has an outlet, that is controlled by a switch, this light isn't for you. I bought this for that purpose and I will be sending it back. Not exactly sure why anyone would make a light that doesn't work with a light switch? So let me get this straight, if you have a room without a switched light, you would need to use a flashlight to go find this light to turn it on. Or you would be completely stupid and put this in a room that is already well lit.

I super love this floor lamp, I have it in one of my offices in a corner so it gives light to the whole room and while I work on the computer, I love this style which in my opinion goes with all types of decoration, The material is very strong and the built is highly stable, I know because I have cats running around and it always stays in place.This lamp is not only great for office but also for dorm, very classy and efficient!

very nice design and function. color is off white. the control is a touch switch which works well, but more rarely I have to tap in different ways until it response. very happy over all.got 3 of them to help light a large living room (12'Wx17'Lx10'H) in addition to 4 LED T8 tube lights at the ceiling, which were OK but not enough. each of these really light up their corners, and enables complete mood control.I like how the top LED saucer can be separated from the tube stand to mount freely on top of and behind a wall speaker and sofa, which would otherwise have no space for a corner light there.

Despite its elegantly slim body and top, this is a powerful touch-dimmable adjustable LED lamp. Bouncing off walls or a white ceiling produces soft light. Be careful to assemble (no tools!) in the order shown, so that you don’t strain the cord by twisting. Warm and cold spectrums are totally usable. I use both. I would have preferred a white cord. That’s my only criticism. I ordered an additional 2 more.

Two things...1) This lamp stopped working just over a month after I received it. I turn it on and all it does is flash on and off. Pressing the button again does not turn off the lamp so I had to unplug it. I suspect there is a short in the AC to DC transformer as I can hear it buzzing... not confident that this thing is even safe to leave plugged in at this point.2) The description states that this lamp is "TOUCH-SENSITIVE" (in all caps for some reason). I thought this meant touch the lamp anywhere to turn it on, but what they actually mean is that there is a small touch-sensitive button on the lamp that turns it on/off and cycles through the color temperatures and brightness. This is a bit unclear, but I can chalk that up to a misunderstanding and is not the reason for the 1-star. Just be aware. Also worth mentioning that that one button is trying to do too much, so operation is a bit of a pain (have to cycle through the color temperatures every time you turn it on). Also, in a dark room when the first thing you want to do is turn on a light, that small black touchpad on a black background is not the easiest thing to find.Bought it a month ago because of the adjustable color and brightness - throwing it out now before it burns the house down. Don't waste your money.

The lamp was fairly easy to assemble, you just need to pay attention to the cable inside so it is pulled through correctly and connected.The lamp is bright and you can see the 3 colours and different dimness levels when it works.. It takes us a few tries to turn on the lamp and adjust the brightness.Sometimes one touch will work, sometimes it takes ten tries.

Alas, the second one of these failed after using it abou 8 time for 10 minutes each time. I was, someone else said, it blinked on and off, heated up at the control and had to be unplugged. The seller was very responsive after I send a video of the problem the first time. Now it's the second time and I can't find the address of the seller so I am doing this. I think at this point I need my money back. People were fine to do business with at least so far. Product is faulty.
