There is no hole in the plate that attaches to the wall for the plug in cable, so it is clearly not intended for this purpose.I had to get an electrician to connect it for me and when we did he got an electric shock - when he investigated he found a live wire screwed to the metal casing, meaning touching any part of the metal lamp gave an electric shock. He said he has never seen anything like it in all his years as an electrician. It is a good job it wasn’t sent with the plug connected as if it had done it could have been me or my children getting an electric shock.I’ve tried to seek a refund from the seller but getting nowhere - they suggested I asked a friend to install it for me ‘as it is very simple’.Unsafe and not as described - avoid!Would have given no stars if I could. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Nice design *by A***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 January 2020* The dimmer is working only with one of the pair ...
