So as of November 2019 this company has started using WinCam Pro (free app). All research I have done and countless reviews I had read all pointed to problems due to the app no longer being available.So after buying over 10 similar cameras and all either not working or disconnecting from the app while recording ( most within just 15 seconds of recording) I finally bought this camera.Zero complaints! Hands down best camera out there I have used so far and yes it works via WiFi also! Works remotely with micro SD card and you can watch or download these recordings wirelessly via the app or by the SD card itself. You can flip or rotate the image before recording and live stream through the app or through your home WiFi anywhere in the world you have service/internet. Motion detection saves on battery life and you can choose from 5 sensitivity options for motion so you only record what you want. You can also have a photo pushed to you of the motion alarm so you can decide if it was your cat walking by or an intruder so you know if you really need to watch the video or not instead of watching every motion alert. Best camera and app combo hands down and I have owned over 10 similar products in the past two years and for the features and price this is the best hands down!!!

The QR Code never worked and the box is long gone so I'm stuck with the camera I can never connect.

Compré esta cámara y la devolví porque creo que estaba defectuosa,se mantuvo conectada a wifi durante varias horas y cuando fui a revisarla estaba muy caliente y se conectaba a wifi WIN66…. Pero no podía ser monitoreada en mi iPhone.He vuelto a comprarla para comprobar si es defecto del producto o si tuve mala suerte con el anterior.La cámara es muy pequeña e inapreciable y eso me gusta pero no tiene ni una hora de autonomía y graba secuencias de un minuto que es muy incómodo para revisar ,en la que compré no vi que detectara movimientos porque grabó seguido en un lugar donde no hay movimientos.Aunque no esté conectada al celular la cámara sigue grabando.Algo que debieran mejorar es el encendido y apagado que pudiera ser a través del celular y no manualmente y además la luz de estado se mantienen encendidas por lo que puede ser detectada en la oscuridad.

Pretty good for what it is. WiFi works good, the app is cloodegy but you can just use the web interface of the camera which works good.I have mine hidden in a bookshelf and plugged in all the time.Update - i ordered this again for a 2nd one. the new one has a different application which is frustrating. the old version will not use the new app so that is a bit disappointing.These cameras, while not documented in the instructions, does have a very capable web interface which i find eaiser to use then the apps.The are reasonably small and hide with relative ease. They can be left plugged in all the time but will continue to work on battery even if its unplugged.on the 2nd time i ordered it the camera would not connect to the new app but I am hopeful the replacement will.

After reading about this camera online, and reading some reviews, I decided to order one on the spur of the moment just to test it out. But after trying out this little camera, I'll never buy anything else again, image quality is very good. It looks to me like1080p HD video. On my network it streams in full motion at a nice high frame rate. There's none of the jerky low frame rate video that I get from some of my other cameras. Color reproduction is quite good. The motiion detection is simple and reliable. It can be tuned from highly sensitive (triggerrs when my cat walks across the basement floor) to low sensitivity (my wife would have to walk in front of it). Upon triggering, a ~10 second video is captured and uploaded to the sd card. An optional push notification is sent to your phone. And you can go into the app and watch the recording. What a great hidden camera.

Verdict: Don't buy.With such an affordable device, I expect to sacrifice: resolution, audio quality, and on-board battery life. However, this device does not even satisfy the most basic requirements for a small concealable camera.Problems:(1) You can never been sure if the device is recording. This device seems to require an unnecessarily complicated series of button presses to begin recording. The feedback from the LED's is unnecessarily complicated (various patterns of flashes from two different LED lights vs. a power indicator and a recording indicator).I want a device with an on/off power switch, a record button, and a single LED light the confirms that a recording is in process. Its not difficult.(2) The app is gone. There is, supposedly, a replacement app but it fails to connect to the device's access point (AP). So there is no wireless connection capability anymore.Pros:(1) I really love the idea of a small camera connected to a controller via a ribbon. That definitely increases the options for concealability. If they make a version of this device that can be reliably used, I would happily buy several.

This product was very disappointing. I’ve had the camera for 3 weeks before the camera started glitching out. This camera got hot after 25-30 minutes of use and when in continuous use the camera would start cutting in and out. The quality was as good as a flip phone cameras and does not provide a 1080p as advertised, at max it gave you a 720p picture quality. Although I had no use for the night vision I was excited to test it out but you could barely see anything, and the darker the lighting the more the picture got more patchy. Too much light created a flair blinding the camera and darkening every thing around it. The motion detection was adequate although I couldn’t really rate that as I mentioned the heating problem earlier. I pretty much spent over 40$ on a new universal cable since the camera died. Overall this product was disappointing.

Functional it’s fine , lens covers are rubbish , don’t fit and easily fall off .. way too big , exaggeration on easy to hide .. but functional it good
