Cordyceps (Cordyceps militaris) 8oz.-dried Mushroom Powder-Myceliated Biomass

I've used Cordyceps from other vendors and thought I'd try this one. It does not smell nor taste like Cordyceps. It tastes like sawdust and is mostly a filler that does not dissolve in water the way other Cordyceps does, but floats. I can see the wood fibers in it. Who wants to eat that? So "myceliated biomass" does not mean pure mycelium, which is what I want, but mostly the sawdust it was grown in. Extremely poor quality. I regret my purchase and will go for a refund if I can get one.

I’m not sure where the excellent part comes from, but I’m sure it’s not from the wood pulp which you can clearly smell upon opening. Will stick with reliable brands from now on.

I didn't experience medicinal benefits from this product. I know how cordyceps taste since I have been taking it for a long time and this one tastes very mild.

This is a good product at a very reasonable price. I have bought some of this from china in the past and this is a much better product.It is cleaner and seems more pure.
