Would have been five stars if the handles were big enough to actually grab while washing a record. It does work great as far as keeping the label dry, but the small handles make it difficult to use, especially for someone like me who has well above average sized hands. I’m sure I can find something to use in their place.. or since I have access to a machine shop I can fabricate something. To be honest, I thought about just making one of these myself out of lexan, but for the price I couldn’t do it and make it worth the time. Even knowing now that the handles aren’t exactly the right size for me, I’d still buy this. As I stated before, it works great.. I also have a Spin Clean machine, but nothing cleans a really dirty record like good old dish detergent and a sponge. Especially a vintage record that has collected dust and grit for decades!! The Spin Clean just doesn’t cut it. I have used this product to wash records that sounded like a bowl of Rice Krispies and once cleaned were dead silent. Now keep in mind though, nothing is going to “fix” a record that has surface noise due to scuffs and scratches. But for noise caused by dust and static, this thing works better than anything I’ve tried. In all fairness to the makers of this product, it would probably be just fine for people who have smaller hands. It’s just a bit difficult for us guys who have hands big enough to palm a watermelon. lol.. Other than that, I highly recommend this little tool. The o-rings are seated perfectly in the grooves, although I would make sure to check them for that before every use.. and the smaller rubber rings that fit around the threaded shaft where the center hole is drilled seal up water tight every time. I’ve used mine probably 100 times since receiving it and not once has it leaked. Great product.

I used this a few times and it worked perfectly. However, I left it on a record for a few hours while I was out of the house and came back, the little rubber seal was stuck to my label and came off of the contraption when I tried to dislodge it from my vinyl. So now the label saver itself is just un-useable, and I essentially wasted my money on it.Don't leave it screwed on too long. I realize it's mostly user error but I didn't really think that it would happen.3 stars because it worked as intended, but DO NOT leave your records to air dry if you have this attached.

The WEWU is quick and easy to use. I would recommend checking the o ring seals in between use to make sure they are properly seated in their groove to assure a true waterproof seal. On one occasion the ring slightly popped out of its groove when pulling it off the record and I didn't notice it until the next record I cleaned, and a small amount of water leaked in. No damage, no big deal.

This label saver does exactly what it was designed for. Good quality. Makes cleaning process much simple. Really preventing record label to be wet and now I can do it under shower.

Most of these label saves have discs there too large in diameter. The end up covering the grooves on the last tracks of some longer records.This one is the perfect size. It covers only what it needs to, the label. No extra acrylic to cover up grooves. It works very well. Highly recommended.

I cleaned over 100 vinyl records with it and it works just as good as the more expensive ones.

Very good label protector.It covers the label perpectly so that label doesn't get wet.

I tested this out on a 1964 jazz record that I found at a thrift store. The record was covered in filth and sounded terrible. After clamping the device in place, I cleaned the record with a soft sponge and mild soap. It plays flawlessly now and the label is intact. You really don't need anything more complex that this to clean records.
