Air Conditioner Inverter Ductless Wall Mount Mini Split System Heat Pump Full Set with Kit and Wifi (24000 BTUH 230V)

I bought this Mini Split for my garage which also doubles as my work from home office. It keeps my garage at a cool 73 degrees when it is in the mid 90's outside. I am amazed how quiet it is. No problems using a speaker phone during conference calls. The installation was not too difficult for a handyman, however having 2 people makes the job easier. I ran 10Ga wire for this system (just because), however 14 gauge might have been fine as the wiring harness for the power that came with this unit was 14 Ga. The Kit comes with 1/2" flex copper that is needed to connect the inside and outside units. After kinking the 1/2"flex copper a couple of times, I chose to use rigid L Copper for a majority of the run to get a cleaner install. I had to transition back to the flex copper as the inside and outside units used flare fittings. I had no problems with the 1/4" flex copper. Plan on having a flaring tool to make your runs clean (if you care). Also, plan on having a buddy that knows how to pull a vacuum on the system help you out. It will save you from buying a one time tool and time watching several youtube videos (It is not hard to do, however a beer with your buddy is much cheaper and more enjoyable). I have not tried the heat option as it is still in the 80-90's, however will try it out in the fall or if there is a cool summer day. The price of this unit was about 1/2 of an equivalent locally specified system (at contractor pricing). I have had the system up an running for 3 weeks now so I do not know about longevity of the system, however I am currently a Very Happy Customer.

Easy installation, very very quiet. Works great in heat or cool mode. I am very impressed with the efficiency of this unit. I did the install myself, then had a hvac guy come pull a vacuum and check for leaks, then open the valves. Its been about a month, but Texas weather has run the gambit. Below freezing to 90 degrees, and I am highly impessed! The only hiccup I had was that I didn't have enough fall on the condensation drain. I just raised the inside unit about a half inch, and the problem was taken care of. My only wish is that it came with the optional wifi unit. My reccomendation is go ahead and get it! The price is great for this quality!

Within the first year the heat stopped working. We thought "oh well, we are in Alabama and don't need heat as bad as air." The next summer, we ran out of freon. We thought it was pretty quick to run out, but again, oh well. Paid an HVAC guy $100 to put more in it. We moved shortly after for about 8 months and came back periodically. 2 months after moving, the AC wasn't working on a trip back. We called the HVAC guy back out and he said it was a motor. Ordered the motor, put it on, and it worked for the rest of our stay. The next time we came back, it didn't work again. There was a leak from the inside unit or freon. Stained our wall, destroyed the cabinets. We are now looking at buying something completely different.

I installed this system in a 900 sqft. 30 x 30 x 12 Steel Garage that is insulated with 2.5" of Closed Cell Spray Foam. There are no windows just a 12 ft. tall roll up door. After pulling a evacing the evaporator and then pulling a vacuum I opened the refrigerant lines, then I turned the unit on, the cooling started immediately. After playing with the remote control a bit I set the unit to super cool mode and went inside to have a bite to eat. After 45 min that unit made my shop FROSTY cool when it was 95 outside with 53% humidity! Since then I have set it on 73 without any issue and it stays cool in the shop even without the ceiling fans turning! Great Value for the DIY

The unit shipped fast and arrived before the expected date. It was on a pallet and properly packaged, no damage or missing parts.Installed in my 40 ft 5th Wheel with 4 slides, both roof airs didn't keep up with the summer heat and were noisy, had to use a window unit to stay half way cool.No major problems with the install. Any body with electrical or mechanical experience should have no problem installing it. I'm 76 and it took me about a day and a half to complete the job. Directions left a lot to be desired. Utube videos helped. Borrowed vacuum pump from O'Riley Auto parts to evacuate the lines,which is a must for the unit to be leak free.The unit cools the trailer great, the front bed room is even cool enough to sleep comfortable at night. It's super quit and even at 104 out side I have the temp set on 80 and it's comfortable. I haven't got my electric bill yet but I've been checking the meter and used at least 1/3 less this month than last month.One of the best investments I've made. Should have done it last summer!I would recommend it!

Product was great to use it installed very easy came with the installation kit we are HVAC company so that makes its very efficient and installing the product customer was very happy price is great I need to get wholesale prices though so I can sell more I showed the customer three different brands but they picked this one so I’m really interested in becoming a partner
