Just got it today. Very simple design, nothing to break. iPhone 6 fits fine - without thick case. Could be a winner.Update: It's been about a month - phone and unit stay in place. Nothing adjusts, no springs, nothing fancy, etc. It just works. This appears cheap and flimsy out of the box - in fact, it's just a well-designed, minimalist holder. The little slot that holds the cord in place when not it use us a nice touch. Update: a year later - iPhone 11 Pro fits well. I use the case flip cover in the slot so I don't need to remove the case. Works fine. This product is a keeper after a number of others that didn't last.

So I got a new phone and wanted to buy a few things for it (like a good cell phone holder). I like to travel and thought this would be perfect and I like that you can secure the cord too. When the package arrived, it came in a box that was used before. It looked like coffee spilled on it and a two year old was kicking it around before they shipped it. The holder was hanging out the bottom of the used opened box. Guess you get what you pay for. Returning.

Nice material but the phone only sits in it vertically-there’s not really much of an angle to balance the phone well. Good for a desktop maybe, but not so much in a car.

This looks simple, hey believe me it is the best cell phone holder I have ever purchased! Holds the cell phone well and firmly! Little difficult to embed th phone if it has safety case. But a great product. Both my wife and I love them in our cars!

I have had this in my car for a couple months now and it really works great. I have gone through the kind that mount to the windshield and dash with no luck. I am hopeful that this on will last the test of time.

My Samsung j7 v w/Spigen cover fit perfectly and holder worked as intended on a road trip from Seattle to San Diego in my '02 T bird with a sloping dashboard.

It has a very sticky base, the rear portion has some weight to it. I like how it molds easily to the dashboard.

Wish it could hold the phone right side up. Not all apps view horizontally.
