Terre D'Hermes by Hermes for Men 1.6 oz Eau de Toilette Spray

Best smelling for a man who likes Oud related perfumes. This has good sillage which wears on skin well and has longevity throughout the day. Maybe sensitive for people who are not used to perfumes, sometimes can be a bit strong when nearby cos of the citrusy notes. Can be worn to clubs, parties or even corporate setting. This EDT elevates your self confidence, if you are wearing any colorful clothing it makes it pop even. Slightly on expensive side, there are much cheaper options which mimic the same notes but those easily die off over the day comparatively.

After reading reviews about the possible legitimacy of this product I was anxious about my order but was pretty confident that something that was "shipped and sold by Amazon" would be the real-deal. Right? Well everything appears in order. The box was sealed in plastic, twice. The serial number was in tact on the bottom of the box, albeit was covered by a barcode sticker. Upon opening the box the bottle top was in full working order, the serial number on the bottle was visible and the lettering on the bottle was quality. Also, the juice that I purchased has lasted some 4-6 hours so far on one spray so I think it's safe to say that the product is quality. On to the scent, I couldn't be happier. Especially considering I bought this product 'blind.' It opens with cedar and juniper and later segues into citrus and smoke. Despite what other people may have said, I think this is a great day time scent, especially for the holidays, and it pairs well with a wool sweater and leather shoes in the office. I will wear this out to dinner at the weekend in the city. Looking to purchase again as a gift.

It's by far my most preferred fragance. It's very woody and intense for an EdT. This is the only one that I bought twice.

I don't even need to write an "essay" reviewing the product. The photos that I uploaded said it all. I am a recent college graduate (not a geezer) and I the take the risk of purchasing this Hermes without visiting the mall to test it out because of the research I have done. Good reviews and video recommendation by many users. It arrived this afternoon after I got off from school, and I tested it out. I think I am going to love it and treasure it. The scent might not last very long, but it is good enough for me and it feels like that I just went out from a shower. I definitely will use this one again after 5 years and abandon the cheap AXE from Walmart because whenever I smell the AXE from a guy, I got so bored already. It feels elegant to wear Hermes, and at least it is more classy.

I feel like I'll like this more and more as I use it. It definitely doesn't smell like anything else I've had. Powerhouse performance for me, I sprayed it on at 8:30pm and it was still quite noticeable at 8:30am the following morning. It has a sophisticated scent, not particularly manly in my opinion. I could see women pulling this one off as well. Overall I like it for its uniqueness and longevity.

Muy rico el perfume

It has been a long time since I ran across a scent of this caliber. This a scent for men, at home in the forest, the boardroom, a London club, the game or a black tie affair. It opens with a strong, bitter orange and black pepper. Shortly the orange mellows and a burning pine pitch, fresh cedar, dry earth smell intermingles. Patchouli hovers around the edge of notice. It projects well, and has a clean approach. This scent is dry, dry, dry. Think of eating an orange by a caravan fire near the spice market in Marrakesh. I have had it a week and women of all ages have commented very positively on it. It lasts for a good 6+ hours on me. Right now, with the colder temps this scent is in its own. It may be too dry and spicy when the mercury soars, but I may be wrong. I took a blind gamble on this and it has paid off huge.

So I was one of those that bought into the low price of this cologne. Don't get me wrong, it still smells awesome. However, the scent is much fainter than the one I tried out in a local retailer for 3x the cost. I was leery when opening the package as I had read some were not sure how real this particular item was. After inspecting all of the aspects of the bottle, looking for manufacturing shortcuts, it appears to be legit. Having said that, I noticed the manufacturing date for this bottle was about 1.25years ago. This may be the cause for the cologne losing some of its umpf(don't quote me on that as that is not my specialty). Either way, for the price, this is a nice cologne for the price. I would just probably double up on application to make up for the weak scent.
