I didn't buy the Mr. BellyButton cushion for me. I bought it for my students. I teach Reading Recovery to some of the hardest to teach kids. Some of them are very active and have a hard time sitting still. Despite having the table lower to help their feet touch the floor, some of them are still not tall enough for that to happen. Mr. BellyButton allows them to have a place to rest their feet and ground themselves so they can focus on the work we are doing. It has eliminated some of the chair squirming and feet swinging. Also, after a half a year of school, the cushion is still in great shape. Yes, it does need a good washing, however I can remove the cover to do that. This cushion works great for me and especially for my students.

I actually purchased this item to use in the car for a long car ride. The passenger footbox in my car is uncomfortable and I have tendinitis in my achilles tendon. It worked great. I could use it flat or upside down with the rounded part down so I could rock it back & forth. This way my tendon didn’t get as sore. After vacation I took it to work to use under my desk & like it there too!

I have a lot of trouble with arthritis in my feet and this soft yet firm foot rest feels good and works great. I mainly use it to prop my left foot while playing the classical guitar instead of a regular guitarist’s foot stool. I like being able to shift my foot around for comfort without it tipping over and twisting my ankle. My dog sometimes likes to prop herself up on it too when I’m playing, which is fine because there’s room for her too.

It was inexpensive so I didn't expect much. So I guess I am a little surprised at how much I like it! We have hardwood floors, and I'm just short enough that most chairs are uncomfortable. This footrest stays where you put it, but is easy to pick up and move.It's just high enough to make sitting back in an easy chair comfortable for someone with short legs

I have terrible spine and knee pain. I bought this without being sure exactly how I would use it. I use it in my recliner at the lumbar region because most recliners can cause a swayback effect. This cushion works well under my knees when I have my legs raised. I also love it behind my back after my husband goes to work as a support. Basically, I just love this cushion. :)

My posture suffers when my feet don't reach the floor, which is 8 hours a day most days. I wanted something comfortable, unlike the hard metal or plastic alternatives, because I have very sensitive soles and often kick off my shoes when seated at my desk. This little thing is great and I can wash the cover if/when it starts to get funky from my bare feet!

I finally have a soft place to rest my feet and move them around as needed. Stays in place well, and cushion is fairly firm but pleasant. I have it wedged between a bar below my desk and my heavy fire safe, but I think it would stay in place anyway.

I used this for breastfeeding to keep my legs elevated for baby. Perfect for its use at a great price! 4 stars for being a tad bit too soft
